Last time on AinCiel: Reaching their destination, our princesses were greeted by the scene of the sorcerer lady jumping into the arms of her sister. The said sister, clueless about what just happened chapters before, greeted the sorcerer lady back before noticing that she has another cute little guest. Somehow realising that this cute little guest is the rumoured adopted daughter of the landlady, she quickly kneels before our princesses, showing them proper respect. The sister then asked what their business might be and was finally told that our princesses came here to take her away from her home.
Now then, what will happen this time? Will there be more talking to be had? How did Sumiaria figure that Ciel is the rumoured Fii daughter anyway? And why’s Ain’s name in the chapter title?

So uh…
As you may have heard right now thanks to ad revenue reaching an all time low the site is now actually losing money.
This site is actually pretty rare when it comes to translation sites to be honest, the pay is decently high for fan translators, some of the editors and staff get a cut of the ad revenue and operation costs are all covered that way too.
There’s a downside however, in that it means that profit is eaten up in that way. The site basically aims to break even, anything extra is invested in expansion, new novels, new translators etc etc.
So as you can imagine, taking a loss is a problem. If the trend continues then there’s risks of having to start finding places to save money. Well, I think the staff would sooner take a pay cut than reduce the amount of translating and editing we do though, we’re all fans first and foremost, and care about your enjoyment.
We’re just looking for ways to increase are stability and expand right now.

Never heard of it, BUT it looks quite interesting.

Chapter 20 is out late today. Anyway, I made a mistake in yesterday’s chapter. The school nurse is actually a school doctor. Do schools actually have doctors on duty? I always assumed they were more like medics or nurses, rather than doctors. Because a doctor is bloody expensive to upkeep. Six-figures expensive. I guess if the doctor is paying rent…since it’s supposed to be a university, despite being written like a high school at times.

Not sure where I will go though, unless I can get transportation.
The only places within walking distance that would be dark enough for optimal viewing would be the beach but even that has streetlights.
