Hello everyone, so this is the final chapter of our translation as we caught up to the author.
Well, we had caught up – the author has released four more chapters since we stopped translating, it’s just now that the site is catching up.

The translator, blessings be upon them, has already moved on to other work however and dragging them back and forth whenever the author posts a chapter once a month is just a lot of tedium for us to track. So as is our usual MO we will let the source material stockpile for a while and then retake the project – or maybe someone else will take, that’s happened before, who knows.
Personally for me I am just thankful that the number of chapters I have to schedule for one day has reduced from four to three. I don’t mind having a lot of chapters to do in a week but having a lot to do in a day is really time consuming.

So while playing Final Fantasy the past couple of days, I got my Island Sanctuary to rank 10 and unlocked flying.
That was great.
But Rank 10 gave nothing else… and exp income is a little slow between weeks.
So with nothing better to do I just ran in circles collecting items for 10xp a pop between dungeon runs…
I uh… managed to farm an entire level. I did the maths, I must have collected close to 3000 items just running around on autopilot between dungeons.
Yeah…………. not proud of that.
It’s weird how things work out, earlier today I got a recommendation for an old video tier list of Final Fantasy characters.
All of the comments were about how one of the people in the video was going on hiatus because of some drama or whatever.
So I decided to google their name…
And it turned out they had been the author of a tweet I had laughed at for missing the point earlier in the day…
This chapter was too beautiful for me to leave my usual inane commentary on so I left it clean.
But don’t think it was because I didn’t have things to say.
Because I did.
I just removed them…

The Project Neural Cloud story event was decent.
It was a bit of a sudden jump in time, but they’re racing to a climax so I understood the function of it.
The only thing I think that bothered me was that the previous event had that botched outsourced translation, so I had to rely on someone’s summary of it to get some of the key details that were needed to understand this event.
I understand schedules and stuff, but I really feel doing a major story event right after a screwed up major story event was a bad move. A really bad one.
I have fully ended up dropping Heaven Burns Red.
I love the writing, the characters are great, story engaging etc.
But the gacha… god the gacha…
I have never felt so drained of resources as a free to play before.
The speed of character releases and events is just impossible to keep up with, it sucked my energy dry.
Even a single missed day could tank your account for keeping up, not to mention how expensive it felt.
It was almost snowing today when I went out.
Perhaps a little closer to sleet.
It was just lacking a fraction of cold I think to fully achieve snow status, which is a shame. I would prefer that to rain.
Instead I just got wet and miserable while going to the shop.
My hobby for the day has been watching Americans have a meltdown over the new EU regulations for USB-C.
As if somehow it’s a personal affront to their freedoms.
Also the people who seem to weirdly think that this will crush innovation…
As if USB-C isn’t already far in excess of the functionality of the devices that can use it, so it’s already future proofed for several years.
And there’s nothing that says that companies can only use USB-C, just that they have to offer USB-C as a function.
It’s like having mandatory headphone jacks, it’s not like the device would have to remove bluetooth.
Anyway, not that this impacts the UK.

This chapter was… a thing.
Honestly I’m having thoughts about this novel, there’s a lot of potential here, but the author is just a little too… easy going?
All of the stakes so far have been a result of stupid decisions or oversights.
And any consequences are… easily resolved.
As 2025 approaches so too does the end of this novel, well in a way.
We’ll reach a point where we can’t continue the translation at least… not that the story has ended yet.
Yeah, sorry about that folks, but you can’t blame us for the cliffhanger!
