The sequel to Record of an Immortal’s Journey to Immortality’s sequel seems to be drawing a close soon.
The author seems to have forgotten about a character from the first novel that we should have had dealings with by now unless something has changed.

Robinxen’s AWOL Journal – Entry 4 Final:
Hello, I’m writing this the day before I leave.
It’s also the day before the Da Vinci event starts on FGO. Rotten luck right?
Why do I have to be away for the first four days of a major game event? Actually on that front, I’m going to really struggle to fit in time to play all my gacha games aren’t I. Luckily both Honkai and FGO are mobile games.
When this goes live I will actually be back home though, pretty funny to think about right?
I’m writing this before I go but you won’t even read it until I’m back.
As you’re reading this I’m probably frantically trying to farm materials to catch up on those games.
Anyway, if I remember I’ll edit this to have an update on how things went.

Robinxen’s AWOL Journal – Entry 3:
So this is the third chapter of the week that I’m responsible for. It’s going to be weird having a huge gap until I have to schedule another chapter, I’m not used to doing it this far in advanced.
I should actually be preparing to board the coach home now.
I bought a couple of Light Novels to keep me occupied on the trip there and back.
Those are Der Werwolf and Genius Prince’s Guide.
Both of them are politics driven management stories but with very different setups. Hopefully I enjoy them.
Originally I had planned to read the book A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur’s Court, but I actually already finished that. Weird experience.
I’ll let you know what I think of the two light novels, or light novel…depending on how much I read.
Oh right that reminds me, you should all go buy Seriously Seeking Sister. Brilliant, brilliant, light novel.

Robinxen’s AWOL Journal – Entry 2:
Hello again, well it’s not actually been that long since you read my last post. And I technically wrote this post first too just to screw with your heads a bit more.
I’m actually staying in a friends house while I’m up in London.
She’s female.
Yes I have female friends.
No sadly nothing lewd is going to happen.
Or has happened.
Or is happening.
Actually accounting for the approximate time it will be when this goes live, I should be being forced to participate in a social engagement in her house that is being hosted. I’m probably going to lose the will to live, please send your willpower in my general direction.

Robinxen’s AWOL Journal – Entry 1:
This chapter should go live on the 13th, but accounting for timezones it’ll actually be on the afternoon of the 12th for me.
This means it’s almost been 24 hours since Miku Expo started, and slightly less than 20 hours since it ended.
I’m currently in London.
I shouldn’t need to explain who Miku is right?
I’m actually going to attend with a few of my internet friends, but I don’t really care about those. Well except the one who I owe money too…should probably care about that. Don’t want to suddenly end up in legal trouble. Hahahaha.
The tickets are VIP too, so apparently we get some goodies. Personally I care more about this than the concert. Music isn’t really my thing.
I’m a bit anxious about the whole singing along and glowstick thing.
Wait, since this will post after the concert I guess it’d be was anxious?
Just some thoughts.

Continuing from the last post, do any of you know the old SwanPrincess movies?
Apparently it has 7 sequels, including one from 2019. I am shocked.
All I remember from the first movie is the frog with abs.

It was Christmas, so some friends and I looked for old cartoons celebrating it.
Did you know there’s a He-mana and She-ra Christmas Special?
Silva’s dropping in with a bombastic announcement:
We are dropping Female Knight & Dark Elf!
…
…
…
Yes, we are dropping it, but not so soon. Before we go into that, however, I’ll explain why we are dropping it. First, we don’t get nearly as many views as we’d hoped for. Meaning, it doesn’t generate enough revenues. Second, not enough support on Patreon so I am basically still paying for the translation of this project from my own pocket. Along with the lack of views, this is basically a deficit.
And that’s why, we’re dropping Female Knight & Dark Elf for another Gender Bender project, but since we still have a few rare Patrons that supported Knight & Elf, I’ve asked for their opinion and we’ve all come to agree that we should pick up a new series indeed. There are some, however, who still wished to see the continuation of Female Knight & Dark Elf, so I made a compromise. We will continue to translate Female Knight & Dark Elf until chapter 100 before picking up the new series, and after that, I will have the translator focus on the new series while providing at least 1~3 chapters of Knight & Elf monthly based on his availability.

It had been a great 2019, but everything must come to an eventual end. If worse has come to worst, expect Re:Library to be terminated by Aug 2021 since that’s how long we purchased this hosting plan for. It is very unfortunate, but we have been reported by our advertising partner that our site has hit a high threshold of non-human traffic, again!
So what does that mean to you? To us? And to our publishers? It means that we won’t be able to get a source of ad revenues anymore from our current ad network until we get this issue resolved, and no source of revenues means we can’t pay our publishers or freelance translators for their hard work, we also won’t be able to continue paying for our hosting plan, and that means termination of Re:Library for when our plan ends.
What is invalid traffic you ask? How do we resolve it? Invalid traffic or non-human traffic is basically what we refer to bot traffic. There are good bots like our neighborhood friendly Spiderman Google Crawler which crawls our site and index them on the search page. But there are also malicious bots that come to our site to scrape or steal our content, or bots that tried to brute force log-in to steal our user credentials.
In short, our site has too many bots visiting us and that’s hurting our site, not only in terms of our content being stolen but also our ads earning. While we’re not really too concerned about losing some traffic to the aggregator sites, but having been removed from our monetization scheme due to those very aggregator sites is doing more harm than good.
Which is why, we will now be implementing some content scraping/non-human/bots countermeasure. we are not sure what specifically we will need to do, though we will try not to inconvenience the visitors as much as possible. If something goes wrong with the testing, expect the site to be down for a short maintenance.
Why hello there insomnia, we haven’t spoken since last year!
