Last time on AinCiel: Our princesses have encountered a surprising threat: A golden wolf with a small pack of wolves. While the small pack was quickly annihilated, the golden wolf proved to be a tough cookie and even cut through Ain’s barrier! As the battle progressed, Ciel fended off the monster’s mysteriously anti-magic claws but then… her only mode of attack, her sabre, snapped clean in half!?
What will happen next? Will our princesses leave this battle unscathed? What is this mysterious golden wolf? And what is “Ice” doing in the title of this chapter?
