I went to watch the Dungeons and Dragons movie the other day.
I must have had the biggest grin on my face during that first Neverwinter reveal shot.
I really didn’t expect them to use the Sword Coast as the setting.

I know Forgotten Realms is the ‘canon’ for this era of DnD so I shouldn’t be too surprised, but I honestly expected them to make random stuff up again.
Also the portal staff was funny, wait sorry, I mean Hither-Thither Staff.

And the article literally just said The Indian Space Research Organisation successfully conducted the Reusable Launch Vehicle Autonomous Landing Mission but in a longer paragraph format, and then ended with a quote from the IRO saying how they had successfully conducted the test.
Nowhere in the article told me what the test was or what this means.
I mean I can tell from context and general knowledge roughly what was going on, but still, such poor form writing among journalists these days.

ChatGPTs increased security system for specific content spits out some really amusing errors occasion.

I randomly threw it an incantation I had written down for a spell from an old world building project it did, and it flagged me as ‘inciting violence’. The quote in question was:
“Keeper of Records, Bringer of Judgement, lay waste to those who reach above their heads and climb the Tower of Babel.”

My request was to just come up with some names and potential effects.
But apparently that means I might be inciting violence!
I think the issue was is that I didn’t specify the spell was fictional?

So the first episode of Star Trek Tenara went well.
Well, the first like quarter of it, since we only had three hours and over half of that was setting and character building.
I need to find a way to control momentum spending, or gaining in this case.
I think I understand why some rolls in the core rules seemed arbitrarily high, I will account for that in the future.

I need to give a better balance of difficulties, whereas I was overdefaulting to the “standard” difficulty.
However, that said combat and some more difficult content will be coming up, so I will use that to continue measuring.
