Last time on AinCiel: Returning home, our princesses are relaxing in their bedroom when the younger princess asked the older a question that was bugging her for a long time. And while their exchange didn’t end with a clear cut answer, the two of them were satisfied with the result. From there, there were more questions asked, and this time answered with more clarity. Last time on AinCiel: Starting strong, our younger princess had several demands for the CEO of Adventuring which, surprisingly, was met with quick understanding. The CEO explains that they have actually been overqualified in a sense, so he’s not that against it. Also, she’s now the daughter of the landlady and since the landlady trusts her enough for that, he can’t really say no since he’s just one of her freeloaders. The negotiation itself was a bit anticlimactic for our duo but then the landlady-now-mother left them an ominous remark. Now then:

Last time on AinCiel: After having a short discussion about the rules of their new home(?), our princesses were led by the landlady to the nearest adventurer office to inform the branch manager about their adoption. While spending much time looking around the city on the way, they were led to a waiting room, as a show of respect to the authority of the landlady. And on his arrival, while shocked at the revelation, he first apologised for the behaviour of the previous staff and branch manager they met, as he is actually not a branch manager, but is the CEO of adventurers. And thus, our younger princess will now start her first negotiation. Now then:

Last time on CielAin: In the bath, they thoroughly enjoyed each other’s physical presence, understandably so after being together for their whole life yet not being able to physically interact and bond with each other. Still, the younger princess seems to have enjoyed this a bit more overall. After scrubbing each other clean, they had a soak in the bathtub where the elder princess opens up about a certain topic that she would have never divulged in the past, the origin of her name. And so hearing this origin, it’s meaning, and it’s capabilities, the younger princess was prompted to say another name, a fragment of the elder princess’ original name, to make her existence inerasable once and for all.

Last time on CielAin: With their fashion show done and their clothes changed, our princesses had lunch before borrowing the garden to do a certain something; a something they used to always do in the past; a something that can be said to be their origin and perhaps even a microcosm of their relationship: their song and dance. And as the elder princess was about to sing, there was a sudden short silence which followed with a song unlike any other the younger princess have heard before. But unfamiliar the song may be, there’s only one thing to do: dance. Now hours and hours after, they had finally stopped for a short rest and, before it became dinner time, they have then decided to take a bath.

Last time on CielAin: Moving to a different location, our elder princess was taken for a change of clothes. And as our younger princess was waiting to see just how much a change of clothes could possibly improve our already adorable elder princess, the landlady introduced our younger princess to a maid assigned to aid her during their stay. Later on, after our younger princess discovered the brilliant improvement fashion can add to one’s appearance, the landlady cunningly convinced the younger princess to join the dress up side and from then on, our two princesses enjoyed the dress up time with each other.

And on the following morning, it finally came true. As our younger princess awakened, there before her was someone unknown, yet very familiar to her. She immediately understood, the dark haired girl before her was the elder princess that has been with her for all her life. After enjoying their wonderful first meeting, the two then headed to the dining room and waiting for them there once again was the landlady. As the finished their breakfast, the landlady suddenly brought up the topic of clothes and cunningly convinced our younger princess to share a few hours of this special day.

Last time on CielAin: Leaving the room for breakfast, our two princesses met up with the landlady at the dining room. Hearing that the older princess had some important things to say to her, the two of them immediately returned to their bedroom after breakfast. There, the elder princess explained about what happened when she was away and after some sidetracks in the conversation, the elder princess urged the younger princess to decide about her, no, their future. The younger princess obviously would rather be together with the elder princess no matter what the future brings and this caused them to devolve into an argument which ended with the elder princess finally opening up about her insecurity about giving her a happy future. In response to that, the younger princess answers and comforts her as well as she could, resulting to the elder princess eventually understanding that what she wants to do might not be necessarily as good as she thinks it is. With this heart to heart talk ended, the day continues on.

Last time on CielAin: Missing the older princess, our young protagonist spoke her thoughts out loud and was unexpectedly greeted by the precious person she has been longing to hear from. As the conversed, the elder princess suddenly got agitated, and upon realising that this was the result of jealousy, our younger princess felt an somewhat out of place happiness, but still managed to focus on calming the elder princess down. And after that, the younger princess immediately went to sleep, putting in action the event she and the landlady had planned beforehand. In the morning, she was greeted by the silent recollection of her lonely mornings these past few days. Nervously greeting good morning, her fear was fortunately betrayed by the voice of her precious person greeting her back.

To say my excuses, there’s been a series of blackouts last Sunday, Monday, and yesterday here, which really just made me give up on posting and finishing the chapters I was doing then. Last time on CielFii: With the landlady’s persuasion, our younger princess has finally left the room and gotten a meal in her. As they were eating, the landlady explained her estimation of what happened and where the elder princess is, finally giving a slight peace of mind to our young princess. After that, the landlady cunningly started conversations with the elder princess as the main topic, catching the younger princess’ interest as well as distracting her from the loneliness she’s currently feeling.
