I saw a comment on a mod page today talking about how the modder wanted to rewrite the mod instead of keep adding patches to keep up with the game updates.
And someone in the comments underneath went “I took a look at the code and anyone can see why you’d choose to do that”.
And it sort of made me laugh.
I get that it was meant to reaffirm the decision and support it even if it meant a delay.
But it also reads like an insult of “your code is awful.”
I wanted to do this in 4chan green text style mock post of like “be me” but it didn’t sound right.
I was going to complain about how I started editing early to go to sleep early.
But then because I started early I figured I had extra time and took more breaks than normal.
So now I’m even later than usual despite starting early!
I also lost my draft edit for this because of wordpress! So don’t expect comments on it because I was too tired.

A large chunk of money vanished from my bank account tonight with no record of a transaction.
After some analysis I have calculated the missing money to perfectly align with the cost of the Index omnibus.
This leads me to believe that they have taken the money for the book, but it will not show in my transaction history until it is shipped and confirmed.
Which is a strange series of events, but I don’t know why I would expect any different from a situation like this.
Especially in todays society.

The mysterious helicopter that I’ve seen like thrice now landed on the field again near my house.
I’m starting to wonder what it is that requires a helicopter to visit like one every other month for an hour or more now.
Is there someone just super prone to accidents living there?
Or what exactly?
Is it like some secret cabal that sometimes screw up and they call an ambulance?
I WANT TO KNOW THE DETAILS!
Why are these things never in the news?!

One thing that stood out to me editing this chapter is that it felt longer than the previous chapter.
But actually in word count this is the shorter one.
It’s strange how perception can be bent like that, I wonder what it is about this chapter that made it feel longer?
The content? Number of edits? My tiredness?

I applied to some totally wild jobs today…
I don’t plan to get either of them, but they amused me.
One I actually applied to for the memes, I mean I absolutely won’t get that job, but it was funny to try.
It was for the online gambling commission, and I found the idea of being in the organisation that’s meant to be fighting lootboxes funny.
