One of my favourite quotes is “playing god”.
It always makes me laugh.
I mean the gods didn’t do a good job of playing god either so let the new kids have a try alright?
What’s the worst they can do? End the world.
Odin literally create a bunch of girls for the sole purpose of collecting souls to make an army for the end of the world.
One of the worst things is when you suddenly find yourself with lots of spare time, right after you’ve been squeezing out as much as possible from all your time prior.
The past couple of days I’ve been watching and reading things just to fill time because I have nothing to do, but I’ve already caught up on all my anime and novels the week prior.
This would have been a perfect chance for me to catch up with last seasons anime…but I’ve already done that.
Now I am left with nothing.
I’ve been spending all my free time playing Final Fantasy 14 these days. It’s the first MMORPG I’ve been so absorbed after MapleStory, that’s been more than 10 years since I got really into an online game. Most of the online games out there these days are really awful, they are just out there to squeeze your wallet dry with the gacha and RNG elements. Take Genshin Impact for example, the latest MMO craze, like eww… dirty gacha game.
All gacha games have a few things in common, you have limited energy you can use each day, you can only get the best weapons and characters via gacha, you need to get multiple copies of each weapon or character to upgrade them, and they’re all very grindy, as in you have to farm materials to upgrade your weapons or characters.
I think my repeated clicking in games has started to kill my mouse.
It can’t hold a click properly anymore.
This is really annoying when clicking and dragging to select long pieces of text for scheduling chapters.
Yes I could copy all but then I’d get the annoying formatting with the chapter title and word count and such.
So my computer makes a weird clicking noise whenever my GPU fans spin up.
Until now there have barely been any games able to put enough of a load on my GPU to make the fans spin up for more than a couple of seconds.
I’m hoping it’s just a cable that happens to be touching it, or just something that will go away tomorrow.
God please don’t force me to have to try and fix my PC again, it’s been nonstop issues with it lately.
Sigh…
Why am I getting so fatigued when all I do is sit at home all day?
I’m always very emotionally conflicted by the temperature of my room.
In winter it is very cold, so I want to turn on the radiator. The issue is, I sit next to the radiator and so does my PC.
Which means that things get hot quickly and I’d rather not have that.
So I need to pick between nice room temperature or nice PC temperature.
I now have over 100 hours in my X4 game.
Including the in game time acceleration feature my save is now 7 days old I believe.
A lot has happened in that tiny timeframe for galactic politics.
Empires defeated, economies collapsed, enemies made…
I managed to make friends with my target after many hours of effort only to find them on the brink of defeat…
I somehow need to befriend an empire that’s collapsing on all sides as a persons who’s forte is trade…
Can’t trade when there’s no economy!
