So the first episode of Star Trek Tenara went well.
Well, the first like quarter of it, since we only had three hours and over half of that was setting and character building.
I need to find a way to control momentum spending, or gaining in this case.
I think I understand why some rolls in the core rules seemed arbitrarily high, I will account for that in the future.
I need to give a better balance of difficulties, whereas I was overdefaulting to the “standard” difficulty.
However, that said combat and some more difficult content will be coming up, so I will use that to continue measuring.
By the time you are reading this my first Star Trek Adventures session should be ending.
I hope I do a good job of running it, I have some anxiety now.
Well, I have a fully mapped out session plan so it should be fine!

Okay I know I said I’d add the footnote tag to provide commentary last week but I totally forgot because I was preparing for my Star Trek RPG session.
So uh.
Ignore that.
I will do it tomorrow, or next week. Depending on how things go.
Luckily I managed to get my total plot outline done for Star Trek, so, I don’t have any more prep work to do now!

I finally finished copying over all the relevant rules for Star Trek Adventures, in good time too, because the campaign stats Saturday.
So I really need to start writing the adventure they will be undertaking!
Otherwise I’m kinda screwed. Significantly.
Anyway, at least I know what they’re going to be up to at least!
I made an episode map so I just need to start making NPCs and filling in the blanks of the plot development.
Well, plot never survives contact with the characters anyway, who knows how they will react.
The final character for my Star Trek Adventures campaign was finished today, play character that is.
We finally know the entire crew!
Well, sort of, I don’t actually have their finished character sheets so…
Well just gonna have to wing it.
Anyway it looks like the USS Tenara will be engaging in its first adventure shortly, this Saturday in fact.
As the crew are dispatched to assist the USS Copley deal with a strange mutagenic illness.
Lets hope they don’t bring it back home to Starbase 152 while they’re at it though…
I lost my gold rank position in Blue Archive today, I fell into silver.
I guess my early lead was eroded over time or something, which is sad and a little annoying.
The raid isn’t very beginner friendly to be honest, since it has a crowd control requirement gimmick, I only held on as long as I did because of luck I guess.
I’ll have to keep it in mind for the future!
Not that it will change anything pffft. I will have gained levels by then and probably new characters, so I will be fighting in the big leagues (not).
I’m an entire year behind on the game, catching up is out of the question.
I have only a few days to prepare for my Star Trek Adventures campaign.
It starts on the 11th!
That’s not even a full week away anymore!
I have the plot idea for the first episode though, so I am quite excited about that, as they voted on it.
Their first episode is called “Alternative Evolutionism” when they receive a distress call from a fellow Federation ship that has encountered a mutagenic illness!
Alright team it is exactly 1:30am.
The race is now on to see how quickly I can schedule these four chapters!
Normally I get distracted so we’re gonna do it on a timer.
Including writing and editing and rambles and posting.

But uh, I forgot to check if I have access rights to edit volumes for this novel yet. So, just stand by while I check.

Oh and I honestly don’t get the chapter numbering scheme for this novel.
It’s very confusing.
Look just accept the fact I’m taking over the project midway through and I’m going to have issues.
If I can edit volumes, then yay this will be irrelevant, and you can carry on as usual.
If I can’t (Future Robinxen Again: I can’t), then, just ignore the fact this is currently in the Volume 1 folder for now.
I’ll fix it. Eventually.

I’m Robinxen, I’m taking over as your publisher and rambler.
I was meant to take over yesterday, woops, but I messed up adjusting the posting schedule to my timezone.
I knew it was meant to go live on the weekend however I forgot that meant it actually went live on Friday for me, not Saturday.
Well, I’ve made sure to adjust the reminders on my phone calendar now haha.
So, sorry this chapter is a day late.
Oh right, the template for these chapters doesn’t have the footnote code in it yet, I plan to change that shortly.
But for this week I have no running commentary notes.
