Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 464

My multiplayer Stellaris campaign has gotten interesting.
So first someone opened the L-Gates and it was pandemonium. Nobody, I mean nobody, had the power to stand up to the nanite onslaught that followed.
There was one AI empire hanging in there because it spawned from an event and thus had some advantages.

But right when I was dealing with the goo on my own… the Khanate appeared!
What a nightmare!
I managed to solo the khanate with my juggernaut while using my other fleets to hold the goo back. Before they rendezvoused and completed the final push.
Barely, barely managed to clear the cluster with my juggernaut surviving at the last second due to the factory being destroyed.

Then after that we had another mid-game crisis event appear which left a huge gap in the galaxy creating a new manifest destiny gold rush for systems.
Luckily the aftermath earned me the position of Custodian in recognition for my efforts in all of them.

And now we have a war in heaven happening right on my borders! And I own the cluster so it’s a logsitical nightmare to manage who’s attacking where!

And then the final crisis should be in little over 40 years of game time!

Blue Sky Chapter 121

My light novels and mangas keep getting delayed!

It’s pure suffering!

Arpeggio is arriving god knows when in the future.
And I’m still waiting on my Trapped in a Dating Sim 03!

SUFFERING!

I will now vent my anger by reading J-Novel prepubs.

Blue Sky Chapter 120

Playing Stellaris with friends again has been a blast.
I’ve only done it twice before so doing it again is great.

I’m glad that pausing is still available in multiplayer because otherwise it would be hell.
And the free weekend meant that I could lure a friend of mine into the game too.

All in all it’s been a good time to get back into Stellaris.
Not to mention I’m now mildly competent at the game!
I don’t get demolished immediately anymore!

However currently things are tight as two of the mid-game crisis events have triggered at the same time, it’s like pandemonium in the galaxy right now.
The end-game crisis event shouldn’t be far off either. Might be a total disaster.

Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 463

So the new Stellaris update goes live today, including the new modding tools.
Hopefully this will speed up the process of the person I sort of bully into writing my mods for me.
Well not writing…

Converting my ideas and text into actual playable content.
Haha.

Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 462

Well I would never have imagined it.
J-Novel licensed Endo and Kobayashi.

When I saw one of the hints for the novel announcements I did suspect it but I didn’t want to commit to the idea out of fear of being wrong.
Didn’t want to get my hopes up!
Well they did license it! One of my favourite comedies is here!

Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 461

Again, messed up with the scheduling for this one and had to last minute fix things, I accidentally rescheduled the previous two chapters.
Would have been a mess.

Anyway, been playing Stellaris a lot recently, and today it hit me.
I’ve only ever actually dealt with the end game crises in this game about two or three times.
I also stop in the late mid-game and never reach the end game.

I think it’s because I’m not very warlike and once the borders stagnate it becomes hard for me to do anything interesting.
There’s only so many times I can press a repeatable tech button and not get bored!

Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 460

So I accidentally almost scheduled the same chapters twice.
I messed up and didn’t save my footnotes…
Sorry.
I can’t remember them and going through the chapter again to recreate them felt really forced and unfunny.

So you’ll have to go without for these couple of chapters.

Please forgive me!

Blue Sky Chapter 119

In this chapter we learn about how the MC plans to counter her terrible economic sense, and about how the author plans to handwave their terrible understanding of economics.
It’s going to be a suspenseful chapter full of lots of poli….

Oh….

Oh it’s a comedy chapter. My bad.

Blue Sky Chapter 118

The Marvels What If series was really good and interesting.
I like a lot of what they did, and it gave some interesting character interactions.

And of course they included the classic Zombies timeline.

But what impressed me most was the Dr Strange one.
I’m wondering if next season they’ll do the 1602 timeline with all the characters existing 400 years early.

Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 459

My friend took pity on me today, and managed to find a piece of music I used to listen to that was deleted from youtube.
Well I say took pity, it only took them a couple of seconds to search.
Although they had to send it to me by proxy since for some reason I just couldn’t download it.

I think my computer is being weird.
Well that’s to be expected from windows.

So I’m scheduling this while watching the artist work on the piece I commissioned.
It’s very exciting stuff.

So the theme for this piece was really basic just “my character in a position of having been defeated”.
And the direction they’ve taken it is one of the three I predicted they might choose.
The one they chose was a kneeling position after having lost the energy to fight.

The other two I predicted were her laying collapsed on the ground, or leaning on her sword for support.

I don’t really have much to say this time,
so let’s see….

Anyone have any suggestions for anime this season that they’ve been enjoying?
In my case the surprise hit for me was tsukimichi.
I loved the novels, but I was a bit dismayed when the anime aimed for a comedic tone instead of a serious one.
However the tone has grown on me.

You know what sucks, not having ad revenue during the one period of the year you want to spend money the most.
So many cool new gacha characters.
So many art commissions I want to make.
So many games I need to catch up on.

Right now I am spending all my money on commissions because I might have an addiction.
I’m thinking of saving up for a month or two as well, so I can commission a relatively famous artist from Japan.
I want to see how they interpret and style my character.

Blue Sky Chapter 117

I won a competition today.
I don’t really remember entering it, but apparently I won.

I got sent a Blu-Ray copy of Lord El Melloi II’s Case Files.
I can see why I presumably entered this competition.
I am a Fate and Nasuverse fan after all.

Now I just need to find the controller for my bluray player…

Blue Sky Chapter 116

The past couple of days I’ve been obsessively working on an update for a Stellaris mod.
Honestly it’s become almost crippling!
I completely forgot that I wanted to stream today because I spent a full five hours writing out different branch points.

The actual contents of what I’m working on is a pair of event chains for an origin mod.
I can’t actually mod, and have no experience with Stellaris beyond writing some flavour text in the past.
So what I did was throw together some material as an outline with all the dialogue and text boxes.
Then someone smarter than me will turn that into actual gameplay.

Honestly for how long they take to concept and write, they’re probably not gonna be a big deal to players though.
I hope at least someone enjoys them.
The only problem is that they might mess with a couple of bits of the base game, since it needs a determined system nearby to trigger.
