I need NPC and location names for my Star Trek campaign.
Just steal them from anime.
The more interesting the reference the better.
I am literally littering my campaign with references to anime and stuff, it’s great.
Nobody playing gets them.
They’re just for my satisfaction.
I feel like a writing genius even though I am just plagiarising arcs from anime.

So the new Honkai Impact battlesuits are interesting.
Honestly didn’t expect Prometheus to become playable.
Interestingly enough to me is that Prometheus as a concept (not the character) is one of my favourites.
Both in mythology and the way it’s used in various media.
I always like Prometheus derivative characters for the most part.
Heck I even downloaded a really bad idle gacha game because Prometheus was in it.
I can’t remember what one… I think she had blue hair and these like… floaty tech things?

I just remembered that in two weeks I am having to run my next session of my Star Trek RPG.
I don’t actually have an episode roadmap yet, I need to work on that.
I at least know the premise of the episode though so that’s good.
The crew of the ship are dispatched to respond to a distress call from an orbital research station.
They will arrive to find it in an unstable orbit and carrying some highly unstable alien technology.

I finally unsubscribed from a blog that I was getting emails from for some reason.
Given how I had gone through the elaborate process of setting up email notifications for it I must have really liked it back in the day when I subscribed.
Which would have been about 2015 give or take I think.
But the writer was completely frustrating me in each of their new posts.
Constant unnecessary swearing, a ‘kids these days’ attitude to Gen Z and a bunch of other stuff that made me annoyed.
I finally hit my limits and just unsubbed.

They’re making Shigure playable in Honkai Impact.
Which is a major surprise to me, given how she is bonded with a Sugar.
I wonder if they want to start tying up the narrative of the main Honkai with the Post-Honkai story.
And by extension Alien Space, and further extension, Star Rail.
Or maybe they will leave the Alien Space and Star Rail parts alone so it can backwards connect itself?
