Editor for and Demon Sword Maiden!
Gentrified NEET and siscon.
Currently looking for an imouto. Applicants must be under the age of 16, cute and with long hair.
Optional traits are: Neko, princess and/or maid.
I watched some more of the Lower Decks series today.
The second season is becoming more recognisably Star Trek, I’m annoyed I didn’t watch it from start to finish before this.
Instead of random episodes when I caught my dad watching it.
Anyway, the Tom Paris and Voyager cameo was great.
That’s all I wanted to say.
I love Voyager.
I was swiping through notifications on my phone and I swear I saw one saying Stargate was getting a new series.
Which would be interesting.
But then I also swiped one saying about Voyager getting a sequel or something once, still not sure about that one.
And then…
Well for whatever reason I get a lot of scifi series news to my phone and most of the time it’s misinformation.
I don’t really pay much attention to it anymore.
It’s Easter!
At least I think it is, did I get date rights?
Ah whatever who cares.
Chocolate eggs are nice that’s all that matters.
As I write this I might also die from like, an epileptic fit or something. My lamp is flickering the hell out of my desk currently.
It’s actually so annoying I might just work in the dark from screen light alone.
Has anyone here played the game Slipways?
It seems to be a kind of board-gamey logistics management game?
Seems kind of fun, but I’m not sure I’m sold on the concept.
I’d prefer to play a demo but doesn’t seem to be one, and puzzle games like that don’t feel right from watching videos alone.
Maybe I will buy it soon and then refund it if I don’t quite click with it.
I got distracted while writing this ramble because I went on a massive lore rant about A Certain Magical Index.
We were discussing those two tree things.
Well three in the context of Index.
Spoilers that the anime will probably never reach, but Clonoth is a cool as concept.
I love the idea of a technologically inclined tree of ascension.
I went to watch the Dungeons and Dragons movie the other day.
I must have had the biggest grin on my face during that first Neverwinter reveal shot.
I really didn’t expect them to use the Sword Coast as the setting.
I know Forgotten Realms is the ‘canon’ for this era of DnD so I shouldn’t be too surprised, but I honestly expected them to make random stuff up again.
Also the portal staff was funny, wait sorry, I mean Hither-Thither Staff.
I am going to watch the Dungeons and Dragons film shortly.
I’m sure it’ll be good, I managed to talk some of my family into taking me.
Well I say talk them into taking me, I just proposed going together so I wouldn’t have to pay…
Unexpected bonus though, they decided to make it a proper trip, so I will even get to eat takeaway for free!
Hurray!
I am looking forward to it. I just hope I didn’t mix up dates and forget I was meant to run my Star Trek RPG…
The comment tab for me has broken on the wordpress UI.
While not a major issue for me, it’s still a little annoying.
I use it to keep tabs with what people are up to, how they’re finding the stories and such.
It’s also nice to stalk binge readers who habitually comment as they go through.
There’s someone binge reading Maiden at the moment and they’re a volume behind, almost caught up now! Impressive reading honestly.
I have to go to a party tomorrow with my parents, I’ve decided to take my kindle with me.
Or at least that was my plan, until I realised I actually only have one unread physical light novel left.
So I’m gonna take that with me to finish it off so I can add it to my shelfffff…. somehow.
I uh, ran out of novel shelf space again.
Also, Amazon cancelled my order of on of my Arpeggio preorders.
I guess they delayed it so far back Amazon was like “sorry, we’ll just refund”.
I’m doing this set of editing with the Blue Archive OST playing and it’s decided to reach a plethora of the depressing emotional tracks.
Really doesn’t match the mood of these chapters at all, it’s a bit funny really.
Anyway, I heard the new DnD movie is actually really decent, so I’ve decided I might try to go watch it.
I haven’t been to the cinema to watch a movie in about a year, I think the last time I went was…
Jurassic World Dominion?
Before that one though it had been genuinely multiple years since I went.
I don’t go that often at all.
Do you know a trope I love?
It’s when the most ordinary member of a group is the most broken.
How to explain it…
It’s like imagine a group of superheroes and there’s one guy who is just the logistics manager, he’s not powerful in anyway, doesn’t have any super tech.
He’s just, in charge of managing the heroes.
And yet he always manages to work out what is going on where perfectly and manages to thwart it just be sending out other people to do his bidding.
That type of thing.
Bad example, but I can’t think of a better one now.
The Princess Connect PR disaster wreck continues.
This time with them releasing the 6 star ascension for a new character.
By the way, it’s literally impossible to complete this ascension, without spending currency, before the server shutdown. Completely pointless.
Also they removed the seven shut down gacha games they had from their website, trying to hide their crimes and incompetence now to new fans.
Literally, they have 11 games, 4 are running, 7 are closed.
That is not a good look to have on your website.
Don’t you hate clickbaity news articles?
I got one sent to my phone that was like The Indian Space Research Organisation successfully conducted the Reusable Launch Vehicle Autonomous Landing Mission!
And the article literally just said The Indian Space Research Organisation successfully conducted the Reusable Launch Vehicle Autonomous Landing Mission but in a longer paragraph format, and then ended with a quote from the IRO saying how they had successfully conducted the test.
Nowhere in the article told me what the test was or what this means.
I mean I can tell from context and general knowledge roughly what was going on, but still, such poor form writing among journalists these days.
