Sword, Tiara & High Heels Chapter 51

Riding the high of the Star Trek Picard finale was another session of my Star Trek Tenara rpg campaign!
And what a whammer it was, for lack of better term.

They hit both major reveals for the story in one session back to back, giving them a sudden shift in tone and urgency.
They found out the virus they’re dealing with is triple-helixed in structure.
And that one of the Starfleet personnel was involved in the missing crew members and sickness.

The Guild’s Cheat Receptionist Chapter 4-6 Part 1

Volume 4 of Magical Explorer finally shipped for me.
It released earlier this month, for some reason Amazon’s system got hung up on my order and never prepared it to ship.
But I changed the delivery address from my house to my house and that seems to have refreshed the order enough for them to start sending it.

So now it’s arriving! Finally.
I look forward to it.
In the meantime I need to find space for it.

The Guild’s Cheat Receptionist Chapter 4-5 Part 2

The final episode of Star Trek Picard was AMAZING.
Absolutely loved it.

That was really awesome, and a great send off for the finale.
I do find it funny how the third season basically undid everything the first two seasons tried to do.
Everything that happened somewhat negated the changes from the previous seasons.

Writer really came in with the intention to fix that mess.

Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 825

A book I kickstarted finally arrived today, I backed it about a year and a half ago?
Sadly it came damaged.
Apparently they had a poor quality batch and mine was part of it.

They have a form to report it, so we will see how it goes.
Either way, I have kinda lost some interest in the book since then.
Nice book though, it’s an illustrated guide on the basics of making things from fire to cities.

Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 823

You’re probably wondering why we seem to have skipped from 85 to 87.
Well, that’s because the author can’t count.
Amusingly, he also loses count again in a few chapters.
So the count is going to be off by two chapters in a couple of weeks time.

Luckily we are also reaching the end of this volume, so by next month we’ll be in the next volume!
Hurray!

Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 822

I can’t believe that someone would snipe me on an auction for a star trek ship replica of all things.
One minute to go before the auction ends and they up me by a single coin!
And I of course can’t react to an email in a single minute, so I lost my winning bid.

Oh well, I just spent a couple extra for a version that has the magazine included.
Sort of can count that as a win I guess?
I don’t really need the magazine though, but it’s for the collection now.

For the record, it’s the Norway Class model by Eaglemoss for my Star Trek Adventures campaign.

Automata Maid Chapter 82

I finally read Otome Mob Volume 8 after getting it a while back.
It was a fun volume, quite inconsequential, but it was nice to get downtime.
I know a lot of authors, especially for long series, in Japan love to divide up their stories.

They’ll have one or two really heavy plot focused volumes and then one downtime slice of life focused volume.
Personally to me I prefer a more even spread, since I’m not a fan of what feels like filler, even if it develops characters.
But it worked in this one because a major arc ended it helped move things to the start of the next one.

Sword, Tiara & High Heels Chapter 49

I started watching One Hit Sister and was pleasantly surprised to see it was better than Two Hit Mom.
I find it amusing how those two franchises are totally separate entities despite the names.

Anyway, other stuff I’m watching…
Uh quite a lot.
Oh the Oshi no Ko anime obviously, have I mentioned that in a ramble yet?
I think I did.

Sword, Tiara & High Heels Chapter 48

I started a video in the background while preparing these and got totally distracted.
I just spent 2 hours reading tv trope pages and other random stuff after reading about a book in the comments of a video.
Man what a life.

You what I find really crazy?
TV tropes is sometimes more comprehensive on spoilers and lore content than the actual wikis for things!
For example with Blue Archive TVtropes is actually up to date with the asian servers latest plot twists.

The Guild’s Cheat Receptionist Chapter 4-5 Part 1

I’m really annoyed at myself today.
I planned to order something today after checking if I had the money left over after buying something for my dads birthday, but then plans were suddenly sprung on me and I totally forgot about it. I was busy all day so I didn’t think about but then when I finally got some free time I sat at my computer for game dailies, when I noticed I had the tab left open. But the listing timed out.
So, yay, I can’t get what I wanted.

I ordered a slightly inferior one instead just to make sure I had it on hand for when I want it though, rather than hoping another listing appeared.

The Guild’s Cheat Receptionist Chapter 4-4 Part 3

As I was reading this novel that involved dating sims, it got me thinking about how much the gaming industry has changed over the years. Dating sims have become increasingly popular in recent times, with many gamers finding joy in virtual dating and relationships. It’s interesting how people are drawn to these games, and I wonder if it’s because they provide an escape from the stresses of real life or because they allow us to experiment with romantic scenarios we might not get to experience in reality. Whatever the reason may be, it’s clear that dating sims have become a beloved part of gaming culture, and I’m curious to see how they continue to evolve in the future.

In the meantime, I’m excited to see how Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs progresses.

Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 821

One of the weirder parts of having five days to schedule chapters on now is that I have less evenings free to do whatever.
It’s strange, not a huge difference, but significant enough to notice.
Anyway, chapters are here!

I wonder why that is though.
Well, two of the five weekly scheduling days aren’t very intensive though so it barely matters for them.
