Demon Sword Maiden Chapter 1159

New Chapter!
My hair is starting to reach the stage where the fringe is starting to overhang my glasses instead of just resting on top of them…
This means I will need to go and get it cut properly soon.
That requires an investment of effort on my behalf, woe is my life…
I’d have to wake up at reasonable hours, walk into town, sit and wait, then interact with humans, then exchange currency… the bane of an insomniac NEET.

Anyway, how are your days going?

I Became A Magical Girl For My Little Sister Volume 2 Chapter 2

New Chapter!
I managed to release the nextt chapter in matter of days instead of weeks. Yay. Holiday is here, and I have no pressing matter to attend to, so that’s why.

Oh right, I promised the next chapter of Chitanda before this one. That one has been proofread, but there’s a thing I worry about with that chapter, so you get to read this first.

That’s all update from me now, happy reading! The next update should be… sometime later.

Levelmaker Chapter 359

New Chapter!
After more than four volumes, the protagonists of the Mephilad and Yggdrasil arcs finally meet.

When this is posted (or the day before, to be precise) it’s been a year since I started translating this web-novel. Before I knew it, it’s been 250 new chapters (plus several side stories) and 79 retranslated ones.

I started translating with two goals: 1. Provide a translation that is as true to the original as possible, 2. Make it enjoyable to read. I feel like I moved away somewhat from the first goal to improve the second, so I’m not sure if it got better or worse over that year.
I think my grasp on the language improved, though not nearly as much as I’d have liked it to. I still find myself using DeepL frequently as a second opinion on sentences that feel weird/wrong, and, embarrassingly enough, it still makes me realize errors in my own version often enough.

I feel comfortable with the current six chapters per week, so I’ll likely keep it that way. Although I’m still planning to translate the two light novels the series got before it was apparently axed, so I might run this in parallel at some point.

Two as One Princesses Interlude 28 (Part 2)

New Chapter!
Hiya~! It’s Monday, and we know what that means: AinCiel time!
Last time on Princess Leshy’s troubles: After being saved by a mysterious girl, our princess finally reached home and reported what happened to her father. Concluding that her savior might have been the foreign girl her brother tried to court very badly (in a classist kind of way), the two were understandably perplexed and decided to, as requested by the said girl, keep her presence a secret, especially to the brother.
Now then, what will happen next? Will we learn more about the princess? Will this be the end of her trouble for the day? And will we learn more about her brother?
Find out in the second half of the first part of the Leshimiiya interlude!
I hope you enjoy the chapter! Please stay safe! Feel free to comment! And I hope you all have a wonderful week and Happy Holidays!

Automata Maid Chapter 219 Part 1

New Chapter!
The Project Neural Cloud story event was decent.
It was a bit of a sudden jump in time, but they’re racing to a climax so I understood the function of it.
The only thing I think that bothered me was that the previous event had that botched outsourced translation, so I had to rely on someone’s summary of it to get some of the key details that were needed to understand this event.

I understand schedules and stuff, but I really feel doing a major story event right after a screwed up major story event was a bad move. A really bad one.

God’s Gofer Chapter 65

New Chapter!
Catching up on the last of the weeks content on GFL2 was a blast.
Honestly, I’m really glad that they brought back Dandelion in full force as a companion, it’s nice to have the turbo gremlin along for the ride once more.
I enjoyed her presence, even if she did kind of overshadow the other characters and events.

Well, you could tell the event was written in a rush to bridge a gap on CN after the game ran into drama and went through rewrites.
It’s a pivot point for course correction rather than a properly structured story event.
