So are you people playing the new Star Rail update?
That’s all I hear about currently from my friends.
Robin this, Sparkle that…
Okay, well Robin and Firefly are cute so I permit those discussions in my presence.
From the gacha pull screenshots it looks like Robin is the banner right now?
I’m struggling with a social group that I play games with lately.
Honestly it feels really pathetic to say that when I’m over 25…
But I get along with half the group on an individual basis, but I’m just really bad with them as a whole group and some of the other members.
As a result I’m starting to disconnect from the ones I do actually like…
They tend to overshare too, there’s very few secrets in that group.
Well, it’s difficult… I will have to figure something out.
I think part of the problem is the fact that some of the members are quite possibly ten years younger thanks to how online spaces work…
Sorry for the weird vent! Just putting thoughts to paper, well, thoughts to keyboard? Anyway, chapter!
Three of my friends on discord are playing Destiny 2 right now.
I think they’re being held hostage.
Every time I hear about that game it’s because of complaints!
Why are playing?!
What mystical brainwashing power does it hold???
So, we’re starting a new volume.
Volume 2!
I can’t remember if volumes have names in this novel…
Anyway, don’t be surprised when you’re greeted with a sudden cover image.
That’s normal for new volumes… probably? Actually I have no idea.
Shhhh.
Pretend I know what I am talking about and being competent!
My friend made me watch MyGO today.
We binged the entire thing.
It has been at least a year since I binged an anime entirely in one sitting.
Although I did cut it close with Frieren, I binged enough episodes of that to count since I literally watched the entire second half in one go, just not the whole thing.
I guess that makes it a semantics argument. But both were in the past couple of weeks, maybe my ability to binge is returning.
Maybe I can return to the glory days of watching 72 episodes of something back-to-back. Yes, I really did that.
Reverse Collapse reached 69% positive on Steam today.
We’re finally beating the chinese review bombing.
Also nice.
Anyway this is my plug that you should buy and play Reverse Collapse, great strategy game.
It’s like anime XCOM, sort of… well really it’s not very XCOM at all but that’s not the point.
Just play it and find out!
I was just leaving youtube to autoplay some stuff and Shelter started playing.
That is like double nostalgic to me.
First it reminds me of when it released, and second it reminds me of when I used to use it as my editing background noise.
Every time I listen to it I get the urge to write a short story too, because the lyrics paint a really vivid image in my mind of a situation.
But, anyway.
Here’s your chapter.
With the main story of Reverse Collapse behind me I am now hunting the final achievements.
Two of them are related to the New Game+ so I am working my way through that currently…
The last one however is related to the gameplay mode which is a 1:1 remake of the original game…
I am very close to finishing Reverse Collapse’s main story now.
I have two missions left, but then I have to get the final few achievements.
And then I need to play the hidden retro mode so that I can complete everything.
How fun it shall be!
Apparently they might be making a proper follow up though! Which has me excited.
My artist friend suddenly bombarded me with massive progress on a commission I made ages ago and forgot about.
Like, they got round to it and did huge progress in one day!
Absolutely wild!
My favourite little bit of detail in Reverse Collapse is the genetically engineered half-alien effectively-immortal superhuman (who willingly endured open surgery without anaesthetic) still shivers in fear if you move more than four tiles away from her on the zombie levels.
Has zero gameplay impact. But her little chibi sprite shivers if she’s on her own.
Cool, proud, composed, traveller of timelines, heroic badass Jefuty.
and
“Help, my emotional support Protagonist has left the vicinity” Jefuty
In case anyone is interested in playing a SRPG where scifi soviet union goes to war with even-more-scifi soviet union and sees that Reverse Collapse has really negative reviews, please ignore them, the Chinese playerbase are uh… not fans of the developers currently.
Also Fire Emblem fans are weirdly hating on the game too?
I spread the gospel of Othinus glory today.
It was a good day.
Also, today is the day that Reverse Collapse releases.
Let us all bask in the cuteness of Jefuty!
