Well, we had caught up – the author has released four more chapters since we stopped translating, it’s just now that the site is catching up.

The translator, blessings be upon them, has already moved on to other work however and dragging them back and forth whenever the author posts a chapter once a month is just a lot of tedium for us to track. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, chapters have been rather short lately. With two exceptions, this will be a trend at least up to the end of volume 17.
Consequently, I’ve been experimenting with doing my six weekly chapters over four days instead of six, which has worked out well so far. I’ve first used this to extend my chapter buffer from one to five weeks (though this only means that chapters won’t stop for a month instead of just a week if Truck-kun were to pay me a visit or I fall off the grid for whatever other reason).
With that done, I now have two days per week to use for other projects. I’ve started to work on Levelmaker’s light novels (though I’m not sure yet where and when I’ll start posting those) and I have another web novel that was recommended to me, at which I might take a jab.
