My new computer mouse is the best.
It glows.
It changes glow.
It flashes.
It cycles.
It audio monitors.
It has extra buttons. No I don’t use them.
It’s comfortable.
Also the scroll wheel actually works!
Basically. The best 40 monies at 50% off I have ever spent.
Oh right I forgot to add.
Translator decided to rename this arc Unification over Discharge.
There was probably some Korean wordplay at work or something.
Unification fits the overall theme and development of the game world in this plot arc, while discharge is obviously a reference to a specific event within the real world side of things.
Personally I’m more of a fan of Discharge but the lord translator has spoketh. Unification it is.
Today I reached Level 80 on my Alchemist in Final Fantasy.
I wanted to raise it to 80 because my friend is about to reach 80 on their Scholar.
So I thought it’d be pretty fun to craft them a level 80 weapon to use.
I quickly realised that I was actually rather dumb.
Even though I am 80 now, I don’t have the recipes for level 80 weapons. Or the gear to craft level 80 weapons. Or the upgraded tool for level 80.
Basically I’m not able to craft anything I want to craft.
I should have just bought a level 80 weapon on the market rather than wanting to have my name tag in the crafted section.
Hello mortals, humans, immortals, aliens and lizard people and conspiracy theorists and politicians.
The second bout of good news I have for you all is this!
We have two bonus chapters today. Hurray!
Well I say two bonus chapters, and I’d like to claim they are a bonus to celebrate my recent birthday which is very exciting right?
But it’s actually because I got told that I need to catch up to the schedule because I forgot about two chapters that while back if you remember.
Woopsie.
But we can all pretend this is a birthday bonus right?
Good news everyone!
Actually two pieces of good news!
The first piece of good news is that I’ve been given another novel to publish here on this site!
So I thought I’d finally get the freedom to relax a bit more and then I was given more work.
Well it’s still less work than before in a way but it’s more work.
On the plus side you guys get to read more of my rambles.
On the down side I need to come up with more interesting rambles
Part 2 of the good news in the next ramble. Gotta economise guys.
I’m editing and scheduling these chapters for today while watching the Final Fantasy Fan Festival.
Currently it’s the cosplay competition.
They’re talking about the character creation process while analysing someone’s Fandaniel cosplay.
Honestly some of the cosplays are very impressive.
Though I do wish to know how they handpicked these finalists. The quality level is all over the place.
But it is good fun to see.
And so Not Sure, Another World has come to an end.
It’s not related but I figure I should mention it here too.
But I uploaded one of the many draft chapters I have for novel concepts I put together once in while.
I have so many on my computer that I work on, plan for, start writing then start working on a different one…
This is one which I actually wrote a “chapter” for though, so as a bonus I decided to share it on the site.
You can find the link on the last Another World post if you’re interested.
One of the biggest issues about the fact I schedule these chapters really early in the morning before I get into bed is that I always do it while listening to music.
True to form my latest playlist is the Nier raid OST from Final Fantasy.
Why is this an issue you ask?
Well I always end up wanting hum to the music darnit!
I need to stay silent because it’s late but I never manage it!
Important News: Due to a minor translation error a chunk of a previous chapter was accidentally skipped out on leading to some disconnect between the last weeks releases.
The offending chapter has been updated so it’ll all flow together now.
I suggest going back and rereading the two chapters (or at least the start and end of the two chapters)
I think it was this week I was supposed to say…
or was it last week.
Did I forget?
Have I already done this?
Good news everyone!
Oh wait I probably just triggered someone’s reference detector without actually meaning to.
Cough.
Anyway, Not Sure Another World will finally be returning!
Not sure why I’m announcing this here but. Starting…tomorrow?…I think?…Well starting at some time this week I will be posting one chapter every day to well and truly spam you with juicy content to read!
Well Eighty-Six or 86 or however you want to write it… wait I got sidetracked.
This anime is doing pretty well. I only partially read the first novel to get a feel for if I’d like it so the anime is a refreshing change.
It’s a heavy show, so I have to watch it between the many many slice of life shows this season.
Most importantly it’s a very convenient way to get into a pseudo-cyberpunk mindset ready for your tabletop rpg session the next day haha.
My Final Fantasy 14 wedding is in a few days.
I’m getting nervous for some reason.
To think that I’d get the same anxiety from attending a real social event as a virtual one.
Well I guess because it’s one of those events that depend on organisation I can fear things going wrong.
So apparently the last couple of weeks I forgot to schedule the proper number of Blue Sky chapters.
That’s a bit of a minor case of serious oversight on my part.
That said, it is the first mistake I’ve made since I started scheduling for this site over a year ago now. Oh how time flies like that.
To think so many of you have been reading my rambles for so long.
And they will be forever immortalized online.
Anyway to compensate for my dumb error and the lack of chapters for Not Sure, Another World. I will schedule both chapters today. Then I can’t forget tomorrow.
Still no news on Not Sure, Another World’s translator. They’re truly AWOL.
In other news my addiction to the world of Final Fantasy still spreads.
With the unlocking of Firmament and Diadem I have truly become engrossed in the act of crafting.
It’s a rather timely unlock given how I am almost obsessively chasing the construction of our FC airship solo.
I’m the architect and engineer of that little project. Gives me a sense of pride and accomplishment.
No chapter for Not Sure, Another World today.
Not sure if it’s worth mentioning that here but it’s the only place I can say that!
I mean it’s not like I have a chapter to put a pre-chapter ramble on about how there’s no chapter.
But if I used this pre-chapter ramble then it’s unlikely anyone actually reads both enough to make it common knowledge.
Hell even if every reader of this novel also read Not Sure, the readership level disparity is enormous. It’d be just a tiny fraction.
