Hiya~! Second Monday of February, here we are! There’s no time to lose, onward to this week’s update!
Last time on AinCiel: Getting rid of the spider, our princesses went around to confirm the aftermath of the whole incident. Freeing the victims trapped within cocoons, they buried the dead and gathered the survivors to the center of the floor. And with most of them heavily injured, our older princess sang for them a healing song. The battle may have ended, but work is yet to be done.
Now then, what will happen next? Will they finish everything the must within the day? How will they transport all these people outside? And what is this ominous being mentioned by the chapter title?

Apparently there’s some popular internet article trying to argue time travel is a thing because some microscopic study of atomic structure has proven timespace isn’t consistent.
As if we didn’t already know that thanks to mathematical models and the fact that there’s notable delay in the reception of photons from distant stellar bodies, indicating that some had been ‘slowed down’ somehow despite light speed being a fixed variable.

I had first not-dungeon/boss related death in Palworld today.
My base got raided by a group of flying pals.
It was my first encounter with Beakons…
Terrifying!

Well, part of the problem was that they were 10 levels higher than the pals on my base, and I hadn’t upgraded my equipment yet because I haven’t ventured far enough into the map to warrant it.
I didn’t expect the higher level enemies to start coming to me…
I’ve been having too much fun breeding and building and not levelling up or exploring…

The Nijisanji drama just doesn’t stop now does it?
I feel like every time I watch an update video outlining everything going on the video ends with another video.
I’m glad to see that there is some proper action being taken against the company by fans though.
The other companies speaking out is good too, but the big sponsors are not the ones involved.

I feel sorry for the other livers, but they’re the product that Niji is selling and the the only way to hit Niji will have to involve them as collateral.

I return with another chapter, sry for the hella inconsistent uploads I kinda feel like my life is falling off a cliff sometimes in recent days so I’ve been kinda lackadaisical my translations. Anyways now that my excuse of why I’m a horrible translator is outta the way chapter 20 yay finally getting somewhere plot is technically starting kinda yaass. Weirdly enough I found this chapter really hard to translate because it felt like the author wasn’t being super clear about things at a lot of points which kinda made me feel like I was playing a guessing game of how to translate sentences. Oh ya I also played star rails new archon quest(PS. I know that’s not what they’re called but like I have to much time in genshin) so anyway the new big story quest and anyone else in pain cuz like I wanna riot to mihoyo rn like I know the game title has honkai in it but like not everything has to follow in impact 3rds footsteps man like come on. like that’s all I’m gonna say cuz well spoilers and I don’t know how to put a spoiler block on these but ya, anyways tho enough rambling from me enjoy ch 20 as we finally discover one of the secerts of the Rosewood Ring hab fun and until next time.

Hi everyone, TearCRF here…
TLDR – I was depressed, had writers block, was busy with work, and outlined arc 2. I’m back and sorry about my hiatus.

So… I think the passing of my grandfather back in September hit me harder than I initially thought and it took quite a toll on me. So much so that it wasn’t just writing that I put on hold. I stopped talking with my friends and basically disappeared for four months with the only exception being that I still went to work.

As for my writers block, I KNOW that I don’t write well when going off script and I’m just free-writing, so back in September I altered chapter 17 a bit and had to add more onto the chapter. In doing so, it changed my outline and once I started looking at it, I knew that I needed to figure out arc 2 before I kept writing, but I just kept putting it off.

During November and December, work became really busy and I was working about twice my normal hours which after January hit I was able to relax a bit. I then started looking at the story again and I re-read everything that I already posted. I listed all my plot points and from there started properly outlining arc 2, which is completed except for the finale… (I feel like there should be another chapter before the finale but I’m drawing a blank as for what it should be)

With all of that said, I’m doing better now mentally and with arc 2 ready, I should be able to post weekly at least until May-ish. Hopefully, I will properly manage my work this time and figure out arc 3 before arc 2 ends so I can just continue posting weekly without any hiatus (however I am also considering taking a week or 2 break between arcs just to give myself some time to finalize the adjustments).

In other news, I also spent some time during the hiatus to start flirting with some of my other stories. I have 4 on the backburner but I don’t have enough ready to start writing any of them yet. I’m hoping that at some point this year, at least 1, possibly 2 of them I start working on in addition to continuing Fourteen Moons.

PS- I’m sure there’s something I forgot to put in the above blurb that I’ll put in chapter 18’s author notes.

After a four month hiatus, I’m overjoyed to say (type?)…

My friends persuaded me to get Palworld.
I’ve played 15 hours in the past two days.

I’m actually playing pretty casually in terms of actual progress though.
I just beat the first tower, and I haven’t progressed into anywhere beyond the “starter” region.
I did find one area that had like, level 20 enemies and haven’t braved the interior of it yet.

Still traumatised by that penguin boss that absolutely demolished me.
