Hey everyone, Momo here.
I’ve always wanted to read Worldgate Online for a long time, especially as someone who loved Destiny Unchain Online. After following the webnovel and seeing how much potential this series has, I really wanted to give it the kind of translation it deserves.
So, I reached out to my friend Emelia, a professional translator, and commissioned her to properly translate Worldgate Online from the ground up.
The previous version out there was, honestly, pretty rough. It was mostly just cleaned-up machine translation, and it didn’t do the story justice. Because of that, we’ve decided to restart everything from the very beginning with a fully human translation that stays faithful to the original while actually reading smoothly.
One thing to note: updates will be on an irregular schedule for now, since Emelia already has a few projects on her plate. We’ll still be working steadily on it, just not at a fixed release pace.
This is a long-term project, and I’ll be funding it myself for as long as I can. That said, translations like this take time and resources, so if more people are willing to chip in, it’ll help us keep the releases consistent and carry the project all the way to completion.
