I saw a tweet today that was like “The sheer autism that will be released when a new GFL2 player asks for the lore will be enough to cause minor brain damage” or some equivalent.
And I was like, yeah that checks out.
The game does escalate quite dramatically, and the lore is… well it’s certainly book worthy.
The documents that track it are hundreds of pages long. Utterly incredible work by those guys.

I am starting to get increasingly concerned by everything going on in this plot…
In all honestly I think this novel has gone a bit off the rails for my exact preference.
Well, it’s not gone bad yet though, it’s just not what I would read it for.

I do like POV switches in novels like this, but I am not entirely sure on my feelings with how this author handles them.
On one hand they’re very necessary and elucidate a lot of context, but they take up a lot of time too.
I think I would like it more if there were frequent short switches rather than few but very long switches?
Hm, actually just ignore this ramble, I am not sure at all how I feel about it.

I am just so ready for this game to come, honestly my enthusiasm for it has ran out and I just want it in my hands so it’s over with.
Well, I still want to play it, and maybe when I do get it my enthusiasm will reignite?
It just spent so long in production….. years…..
