One of the more amusing things I see when I do editing on this site is the list of categories for posts.
Specifically the lists of categories for novels.
There are some even I don’t know about on here.
Like “Villainess Liquidation”.
I have no context for it, but the mental image it brings is amusing to me.
Apparently the new season of Star Trek Discovery started airing.
Apparently it’s being decently received by fans, which is a first for most of new Star Trek…
It does help that they are following up on a classic old storyline.
One that was also explored in Star Trek Online, so they’ll have to be careful there…
Don’t want to retread old ground. Though Star Trek Online is very much comfortably doing its own continuity now, it’s established its narrative.
I have been listening to the lore people on the Reverse Collapse discord.
Kind of makes me want to make them as factions in Stellaris.
But I refuse to play that game until I update my mods for it…
Which I will never do because I am soooo far behind on DLC.

We got to see his glorious rear in all its majesty on the previous nights preview, but still not seen his face or heard his voice.
I just hope they give him some character, the one in the game has some really good traits they can elaborate on.

So with the drama over Doctor Who getting streamed in the US earlier than its TV broadcast in the UK I have learned that you guys call it “British One Piece” and I hate that it’s on point…
I meant to have these done an hour ago but I got distracted by weird science videos on youtube.

Actually the problems that video highlighted were ones I knew about, but never considered the combination or how they would individually impact or be a problem beyond the conceptual level.
Like I knew about the heat problem but didn’t ever stop to consider how fast the heat would become a problem.
I saw a tweet asking for a Red vs Blue style show for Helldivers and man I would be down for that.
Honestly it would work pretty well because you have space for a really consistent and tight cast.
Aside from the team of 4 (arguably 3 if you want a running gag of one person always dying shortly after diving) you have Pelican, Eagle, Democracy Officer. Plenty of casting.
