I am thinking of trying to pick up Baldur’s Gate in a couple of days.
Originally I was going to wait and play Helldivers more, but I think Helldivers works better as a casual side game now I have played it more.
But then again, I have a lot of other games on my list of games I am considering buying too…
Decisions must be made!
But first I must see my bank account status at the end of the month…
I ended up giving Helldivers a second shot today with some friends.
I had a lot more fun in the chaos than before.
I think it was because I was in a full team instead of a half team this time.
Struggling hard on hard though, possibly because the planets effects was causing a ludicrous number of chargers to spawn.
I got distracted watching someone play an idle game…
That’s next level distraction!
Well to be fair I was watching a lets play/review of it on the side to see if it was worth getting into.
Looks pretty fun honestly!
But I doubt I would stick around long enough to enjoy it
So I managed to accidentally kill one of palworlds world bosses today when it was ten levels higher than me…
I managed to aggro it by accident and its attack immediately killed my flying mount, which sent me gliding away off a cliff to safety…
The boss then followed after me and immediately died of fall damage.
Which is hilarious because I think the pal can actually function as a flying mount?
So… yeah… it forgot how to fly I guess?
I had first not-dungeon/boss related death in Palworld today.
My base got raided by a group of flying pals.
It was my first encounter with Beakons…
Terrifying!
Well, part of the problem was that they were 10 levels higher than the pals on my base, and I hadn’t upgraded my equipment yet because I haven’t ventured far enough into the map to warrant it.
I didn’t expect the higher level enemies to start coming to me…
I’ve been having too much fun breeding and building and not levelling up or exploring…
Everyone seems to be addicted to that infinite combination crafting game thing.

Well whatever, maybe because it’s not totally generative?
Recently I’ve become a prolific biscuit addict.
I’ve been eating two to maybe three times more biscuits than I was a month ago…
I am not sure what has caused this sudden increase.
Maybe it’s because I have actual cash in hand rather than using my card, which I am more conscious of restricting my spending on?
I left a note for future me on this chapter for adding a content warning.
I don’t normally bother with content warnings, sometimes I see them as a bit superfluous as well.
I have some friends who are very big on them though so I guess it’s rubbing off on me… wait I digress.

My brain is melting from staying up every night for the anniversary festival, but at least the music is good.
Why did they have to turn the anniversary festival into a multi day event…
