I’ve been proofreading another novel today and it took me about 10 hours to do just the first pass.
I normally do three passes before I send off the corrected version as checked, but it’s the first time I’ve been burned out this hard.
The novel is done in a weird present tense too so it’s hard to work out the grammar for some sentences because it reads like past tense.

See the problem with having six chapters a week to schedule is that I’m going to start running out of things to talk about.
Until now I’ve managed to get by through only scheduling the night before they upload. This lets me slip in the latest up to day news and musings.
But there’s only so much news one can obtain in a single day!
I might have to start thinking of some extra things.

I finally managed to move beyond the Daihasei Festival in my Index fanfic plotting.
Now I’ve reached the 0930 Incident, also known as the Academy City Invasion Arc.
This arc is a big deal because up until now my protagonist has refrained from getting overly involved in the main plot out of fear of derailing the story and creating a bad end. But the small ripples of their involvement finally cascade into a wave that alters the course of events and they’re thrust into the spotlight in an attempt to create an alternative happy ending.

I intend to plot to the end of Old Testament (Season 3 for the anime only’s) then I will start writing the first chapter properly.
Which brings me to my next problem, I really really need to name the main character.
He’s supposed to be a British exchange student, but I don’t know what kind of name to give him.
Proper English name? Typical Index style psuedo-English name? An English-Japanese hybrid name? A Japanese name?

To top it off, this chapter is the first by translator that will be taking over for Silva!
According to my notes the new translator is Snoring Dragon.
Hmmm…
I wonder if there’s some hidden meaning here?

I should really write something here but it’s 4:30am and I am REALLY TIRED.
I got tunnel vision while watching Railgun S and totally forgot to do anything else today!

Well I was also plotting out my Index FanFic.
I finally reached the Sister’s Arc climax. I had quite a bit of trouble working out what to do for this arc since I didn’t want to change it too much, but also didn’t want to risk leaving it out because of how significant an event it is for any fan.
I think I struck a nice balance though!

Also I’m relying on you guys, think me up some ideas for “space” magic will you?
So far I’ve got things based on planet orbits, dyson spheres, sunspots and stellar cartography.

I’ve sunk back into idol hell, 22/7 has recaptured me.
Sakura is just adorable, or is it Sally who voices her who’s just too funny.
They’re a great group. I think the advantage they have over Love Live and Idolmaster for me is that the idols behind the characters really live their characters.
They always carry a part of their characters in the daily life, as opposed to the strictly professional front the other anime idol groups have.

Sakura gets a figure in a couple of months, but it’s one of those prize ones you can win in arcades and stuff.
So it might be a bit of a pain to find one to import.
I hope I have some luck with that.

I did a damage check today following that storm. While there’s no real problems exactly……we did lose a large percentage of our garden fences.
It’s not a big loss since most of the fence was falling apart anyway and was in the process of being replaced, and half of it had already been switched out for a type of fence impossible to blow over.
So it’s a bit of a mess in the garden but there’s no real loss.

On another note, I think I’ve finally got around the problem I had with starting that novel I said I was going to write after I abandoned that other novel I said I was going to write.
I’ve started work on the first couple of chapters, and I’m going to adjust them and such until I feel like they’re in a position I can build a story off.
I hope you’re all looking forward to it. Because I’m not. Nervous.

Uwaaaa. So this big storm called Ciara went straight over the UK today.
I know a lot of you readers probably live in places with significantly more extreme weather, but the UK basically never gets it.
So like, nothing we have is cut out to deal with it.

Anyway, it took out my power for most of the day! Luckily it came back in time for me to do my daily gachas!
I COMPLETELY OVERSLEPT BECAUSE MY ALARM WASN’T ON!
It was quite extreme. Ironically I slept through most of it because of that.

Luckily it didn’t seem to do much damage to the garden, but I haven’t had a chance to properly check yet.

You see I have a rather bad habit of going to sleep at like…just after 3am…and then waking up at like…just before 3pm.
It’s currently midnight as I schedule this.
But you see, I have to wake up at like 9am tomorrow. I’m probably going to die.

Why can’t the government just give me money without having to make me prove I need money every month.
It’d be easier for both of us.
