I spent a large a large amount of time today doing organisation.
A lot of organisation.
What was I organising you ask?
Well I was organising my art commissions.
See my original name scheme was “Character(Concept)_Artist” ie “EleanorBattle_Skyde”
But as the number of art of each character grew that created a rather messy organisation format.
So it’s now “Artist_Character(Concept)” to keep each artists style consistent.
I am so tired.
I just got home from work.
And like.
How do you people do this?
Hopefully I can get into a routine or something where this is normal and I don’t feel tired anymore soon.
Uh…
I can’t remember if I scheduled yesterdays chapters.
Sorry this weekend has been super busy because I’ve started my new job.
I’m really trying to get my schedule in order as well as everything else.
Everything is just super hectic because I’m trying to adjust everything I used to do around my work now, which includes editing.
Just hang in there while I iron things out.
I’m pretty much recovered now, now I just need to wait for the tests to come up negative and I am a free man!
Well technically given our stupid government regulations I am already a free man because it’s not mandatory anymore…
Man our government sucks.
Absolute idiots.
Anyway hopefully I won’t be in bed all the time now.
Looks like I am indeed coming out the otherside of my second covid infection.
Yes that’s right, I caught it again.
Today I was mostly fine, did spend the vast majority of it in bed though.
Sleeping is nice.
Luckily I haven’t had to start work yet so I haven’t had to already claim in sick haha.
Unrelated but, the number of chapters on the site has caused the drop down menu for Volume allocation to start getting SUPER laggy.
Like holy.
This site is reaching insane levels of chapters.
Timberborn is on sale and I don’t know if I should go for it.
Life is difficult like this.
Actually I really can’t afford it right now.
Just today I had three subscriptions come out at once and I completely forgot about them being a thing because they’re on irregular months.
And then one of my book preorders finally shipped.
For some reason today I just sort of… did nothing.
I literally spent the entire day watching youtube videos on just random stuff.
Like youtubers I haven’t watched in months playing games.
Or a random looooong multiple hour review of a game I’ve never played.
Anyway I procrastinated a whole day away.
Guess I am just waiting for my job to officially start.
I finally remembered to update my Stellaris mod despite the latest update having been out for ages.
Whoops.
I wonder how many users I lost due to it being flagged as outdated in the launcher for a previous version.
My bad.
Also I accidentally uploaded it to the paradox market too in the process instead of just steam workshop.
I don’t even remember my paradox login so…
I can’t check on it haha.
I have a job now.
This makes me an official legally responsible adulter.
I can adult now.
My job is super cool too, in theory, if I’m good enough at it to go full time.
I got a job at an Escape Room company!
Well anyway, I actually got this job applying to a totally different company for a different thing, but someone who worked at both saw my application and wanted me for a different role.
Yeah… I guess I got headhunted in a way?
For some reason as I’m editing this I’m watching weird videos analysing the history of weird games that were released in the 1990’s.
It is quite strange.
Anyway old games were wild, no wonder that the games industry almost collapsed in on itself back then.
Atari might have done us a favour.
I got a potential job offer!
It was worth that nightmare night of sending emails!
I have to go in for an interview though.
This will actually be my first ever job…
Wait does this mean I am sacrificing my chance to isekai…
It’s not an office job so I won’t fit the salaryman trope…
But it’s still a job so I won’t be a NEET…
Oh no…
I spent the entire day doing job applications.
It wasn’t fun.
I took so long on one that I’m actually late posting these and really tired.
So I think I might skip the footnotes today.
