The new Gollum game does not seem to have been received well.
Honestly I didn’t even realise it was a coming thing, seems I dodged a bullet.
The concept seemed interesting to be honest.
A game where you have to navigate Smeagol’s life as the ring causes his deterioration before he finally locked himself away in the depths.
It’d also be fun to play on the players knowledge and expectations, having the player fight back against the rings influence indirectly causing just as much harm as giving in.
I go to comicon this weekend so I need to start preparing some stuff.
Costumes aside, I need to pre-schedule these chapters for the week because otherwise I might actually miss some.
I would rather not blemish my record by missing a day or two.
Well…I’ve had some near misses or a few hour late chapters in the past though so I’m not perfect.
In one week I will be going to comicon.
Which means I will probably have to schedule my stuff early that week.
Will have to try and work out the dates right…
Hmm.
Also need to figure out how I will do my gacha daily missions…
This is a conundrum.
Well I’m sure my super genius mind will come up with something.
If I’ve done my maths right then this should be going live on my birthday.
I am now 26.
Which is, a frankly horrifying number for someone that’s only held a proper job for a six month fixed contract.
Hahahahahaha…
I’m literally one of the people I used to look down on. It’s scary!
I seriously hope I can get employed eventually and you know… do things with my life perhaps?
Ah who cares honestly, I’m getting by with what I can do online and I’m happy enough.
Sure I’d appreciate more gacha and art funds but it’s optional.
I have been sat here for an hour trying to think of something other than a bad joke my friend sent me to use for this ramble.
I failed so here’s the joke!
What do you call a self-proclaimed harp?
A lyre.
I couldn’t be bothered to check if WordPress has a spoiler tag integration.
One week to go until my birthday.
Also just a few more days until Himari is released on Blue Archive.
I suppose there’s also less than a week until Star Rail banners changes too.
And then in a couple of weeks I have comicon.
And that’s not to mention the rest…
Wow it’s super busy for me!
I saw labour was trending on twitter and got confused.
Then I remembered it’s actually election time here in the UK.
So I guess it’s just the usual political discourse.
I actually voted by post so, I’m not sure what’s going on.
Not that it matters anyway. Not the vote I mean.
Voting is important, you should do that.
I just meant that I did it by post.
The area near me is advertising for cctv operators.
It’s a 12 hour shift thing apparently, but it means my job will be to look at computer screens.
I am good at that!
I’m considering applying, just because it’s actually got very few working hours per week, so I can probably make it work.
I think.
I hope so anyway.
I should write something here.
I got distracted by a discord conversation while doing this though so I forgot what I planned to write so uh.
Hmmm…
Oh well!
I’m gonna buy a new light novel soon.
Not sure which one.
I have a preorder that ships start of May though so I will wait for that first.
Forgot what novel it is but that just makes it a surprise!
So, Honkai Star Rail released.
I have played it somewhat majorly the past couple of days in a vain attempt at getting Welt.
I seriously seriously want Welt, you don’t understand, I’ve wanted him playable since he was introduced in Honkai.
I even came up with a hypothetical way for him to work in Genshin as a gimmick Physical no-element character for a crossover.
I have wanted him playable a long time!
Now I just need to get him somehow.
As for my story progress, I just finished the first planet, I need a couple more trailblaze levels to prepare to move on to the next.
Volume 4 of Magical Explorer finally shipped for me.
It released earlier this month, for some reason Amazon’s system got hung up on my order and never prepared it to ship.
But I changed the delivery address from my house to my house and that seems to have refreshed the order enough for them to start sending it.
So now it’s arriving! Finally.
I look forward to it.
In the meantime I need to find space for it.
The final episode of Star Trek Picard was AMAZING.
Absolutely loved it.
That was really awesome, and a great send off for the finale.
I do find it funny how the third season basically undid everything the first two seasons tried to do.
Everything that happened somewhat negated the changes from the previous seasons.
Writer really came in with the intention to fix that mess.
I’m really annoyed at myself today.
I planned to order something today after checking if I had the money left over after buying something for my dads birthday, but then plans were suddenly sprung on me and I totally forgot about it. I was busy all day so I didn’t think about but then when I finally got some free time I sat at my computer for game dailies, when I noticed I had the tab left open. But the listing timed out.
So, yay, I can’t get what I wanted.
I ordered a slightly inferior one instead just to make sure I had it on hand for when I want it though, rather than hoping another listing appeared.
As I was reading this novel that involved dating sims, it got me thinking about how much the gaming industry has changed over the years. Dating sims have become increasingly popular in recent times, with many gamers finding joy in virtual dating and relationships. It’s interesting how people are drawn to these games, and I wonder if it’s because they provide an escape from the stresses of real life or because they allow us to experiment with romantic scenarios we might not get to experience in reality. Whatever the reason may be, it’s clear that dating sims have become a beloved part of gaming culture, and I’m curious to see how they continue to evolve in the future.
In the meantime, I’m excited to see how Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs progresses.
*This pre-chapter ramble was brought to you by… AI.
I am going to watch the Dungeons and Dragons film shortly.
I’m sure it’ll be good, I managed to talk some of my family into taking me.
Well I say talk them into taking me, I just proposed going together so I wouldn’t have to pay…
Unexpected bonus though, they decided to make it a proper trip, so I will even get to eat takeaway for free!
Hurray!
I am looking forward to it. I just hope I didn’t mix up dates and forget I was meant to run my Star Trek RPG…
