I completely messed up today, I got so engrossed in reading I completely forgot to do both my Genshin daily commissions and upload the update to my Stellaris mod.
Well the Stellaris mod can be done tomorrow after work.
Neither of these would be too bad if it weren’t for the fact it’s also 3am! And I have to get up for work tomorrow!

Hm, how about the fact that my monthly pay is now five days late.
Well technically it’s not “late” but it’s supposed to come on the 25th up to the end of the month. Today is officially the last day of the month so…

I randomly got a flash of inspiration for my Stellaris mod today and I didn’t realise how much of an ordeal the simple concept would be to put into practice, test and balance.
Basically all I wanted to do was add solar sails as a thruster alternative for the plantoid shipset, since the leaves on their ships are canonically solar sails.
However aside from easily making them limited to plantoids, it was a real pain making several versions of the same sails for each ship size and then testing them so I didn’t accidentally make a gamebreaking addition to the tech tree.
Well it should be fine, they are a tad OP in theory but by the time you can make use of that OPness they’re pretty much obsolete by newer tech unlocks.
Hopefully it will balance out and give some nice roleplay potential for people.
This week has been massively Light Novel heavy for me, not entirely sure why.
Allow me to explain. On top of my usual regular reading from J-Novels weekly updates.
I’ve read:
Several volumes of Genius Prince.
The entirety of Dirty Way to Destroy the Goddess’ Heroes.
And now I’m catching up on Hidden Dungeon.
That last chapter ended on a pretty heavy note didn’t it?
I wonder if Lily will step in to give a hand, after all it’s a damsel in distress!
Or maybe this is just one of those characters the author will forget about with time.
Let’s see what happens anyway, you never know with this novel.
Sometimes it does the most random things on whimsical fancies.

Basically I spoke to an artist last year about maybe doing a commission one time if they ever wanted to accept one.
They messaged me a few days back saying they’d be willing if I was still interesting.
Of course I said yes.

I wish that I could read manga on my kindle without it looking low quality.
I’d buy so many, and not have to worry about the huge delays in shipping.
My Arpeggio is still way behind schedule with no delivery at all in sight. Alas, nothing I can do to fix that.
We’re getting a lot of fanart recently.
Not only did I commission the one for this novel.
But we also got two for Automata Maid and one for Swordsman’s ReStart.
That’s like four this month alone!
Wow, talk about crazy.
Guess we’re entering a new era of fan content now.
Always liked fanart though.
The new Genshin event has been exhausting, I’ve had no love for the exploration side of it.
Which is insane given how much I loved exploring in this game.
The event just makes the exploration part a real chore.
The island swapping mechanic makes it too hard to keep track of everything you’ve done and may have missed.
Mona’s island especially sapped all my remaining enthusiasm.
I just skipped over the rest of the content in a rapid fashion and did some basic exploring of the oceans then decided to quit.
I’ll go back to completing Tsurumi island, then on to the other two smaller regions that were released before the dendro nation eventually launches.

It’s such a strange thing to have to deal with.
I really don’t want to get the bus too because I’m too unfamiliar with the route and it sets off my anxiety.
It’d be okay if it was a direct bus or I was getting from one terminal to another.
But it involves getting three different busses and swapping at some random streets I don’t know.
This anime seasons greatest hit I think is LycoReco.
The character dynamics are great.
The animation is lively.
Voice cast are giving 110%.
And despite literally having an episode about pantsu there wasn’t even a single pure fanservice shot the entire time.
Everything about it is on point, going to be really hard to beat.
So the hololive boys, holostars, group got revealed.
Honestly I am… underwhelmed.
The character concepts are all great, don’t get me wrong. Like, if I wanted to be a vtuber I 100% would have wanted to be in this lineup.
…but the designs feel really cluttered.
It’s similar to the Irys problem.
I think they botched the models, my apologies to the artists who created them.
But they’re really overdone and all of them are generic pretty boys.
Killer heatwave made work interesting today, barely survived but it was an interesting event.
There wasn’t much to do that didn’t involve ridiculous temperatures.
We actually had to close the top floor because the metal roof was just causing everything to bake inside.
But yeah the things to do for that day were uh… unideal for the heat.
They were either involving being outside, or being in the hottest rooms of the top floor.
Had to give up on those.
