One of the biggest concerns I have for posting the next 29 chapters is just how many rambles I can come up with.
I’m sort of cheating the system right now by rambling about my concerns but shhh don’t question that.
I know a couple of them can be about Christmas related topics but I really don’t want to cheap out on them.
These rambles are kind of my brand identity in a way, I need to keep them consistent even now.
Hmmm, I’ll have to brainstorm some things quickly.
At least I know what to do for the next one.

Literally so many chapters to edit for Christmas releases.
You won’t believe me, but there’s literally a months worth of chapters to do for Christmas, for this novel alone!
And I have to do that for three novels!
Well, Dex has it worse than me I think. They have slightly more chapters to do, but also more novels, not sure if that’s better or worse honestly.

Sorry, I’ve have Up To The Cloud on loop while doing the editing today, it was just the first song on my feed for music when I opened up youtube and decided to just roll with it.
Normally I put something without lyrics on so I can focus on the words of the chapter but eeeehhhh. It’ll work out.
Originally I was going to use this pre-chapter ramble to complain about twitter.
But honestly, I think we’re all tired of that topic.
Especially after he tried to ban linking to other social medias today.

Yeah that’s a good topic.
I hold a great deal of respect for improv actors honestly.
It’s amazing how they can craft a semi-coherent narrative purely by making up everything as they go along.
Playing off what was said and adding their personality.
Of course, I play tabletop roleplaying games so this isn’t entirely new to me.
But the level of speed, freedom and craftsmanship in true improv is insane.
I somehow got distracted watching youtube and didn’t realise I never hit the schedule button for this post so it sat here for two whole hours pending.
Yup.
Well I also read a couple of manga chapters and the news article on Armored Core so I suppose it wasn’t just youtube.
Oh and a brief gander at the wiki for a game I’m playing just to see if there was anything interesting I had missed, as well as plan a few things.
Seriously I have so many tabs open for unique drops I need to track for when I unlock the zones to farm them.
Madness.
Wow I had a nostalgia trip today when CaptainSparklez uploaded a Minecraft music video again.
Came out of nowhere for me.
And it’s a continuation to that music series that we all know for Fallen Kingdom.
Literally, so out of the blue.
I wasn’t expecting it at all, but yeah that happened.

It started to snow in the UK today, it’s amazing how much our climate changes from one state of weather to the next.
And in other news the first NASA Artemis mission finally succeeded. Hopefully this will properly lead to the follow ups.
I would like to see mankind go back to the moon in my lifetime, and a semi-permanent base would be a joy to see also.
I’m sure there was other stuff in the news too but I don’t care about that.

It’s not about why, it’s about why not! Although that contradicts with the quote about being too caught up in if they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.
Recently my phone has been periodically freezing up. Or at the very least the touch screen has stopped responding.
Simply turning the screen off and on again fixes it, but the frequency is a concern.
The phone is basically five years old at this point, it wouldn’t be strange to upgrade it.
Maybe I will have to probably start considering it.
Hm, I’ll start looking into it. I did a few months ago but decided to put it off, but this might be the sign I need.
I have caught up with the latest update of Neural Cloud now, story wise anyway.
It seems in a couple of days they’re releasing a new character with a mini-story.
And then after that there will be another update adding to the side story content.
But for now, I am up to day, and can focus on obtaining the mythical “algorithm” equipment items.
I’ve farmed them a little bit and concluded that they are better than genshins artifacts by a lot, however have their own drawbacks.
What interests me though is the game has content up to 60k team power and I’m barely pushing 25k with a max level team.
Looks like there is a lot of team power you can get from algorithms, skill upgrades and rarity increases.
Interestingly the last of my friends quit Nikke today.
It seems that the games playerbase isn’t going to last, let’s hope the whales can keep it afloat then?
Seriously though they somehow managed to do everything wrong for this game for what was a really decent core concept.
I’m not sure how.
Apparently the straw that broke the camels back for them was the fact that the christmas characters are going to be entirely new characters to gacha for, instead of just skins for the existing character. Making them even more pay to win because the dupes won’t count.
I really need to tidy up my emails again soon.
For some reason I’ve been slacking the past couple of weeks.
I used to literally clear out my emails every day except for the ones I needed to keep.
It’s strange how habits drop in and out seemingly at random in ways like this.
My parents put up the christmas tree a couple of days ago, normally this is a large event.
Mostly because my mother is extremely fussy over decorations, so even though she made it out to be a family event only she was allowed to decorate.
Well she didn’t really make a big deal of it this year so it was assembled and decorated rather quickly.
Is this really pre-chapter ramble material? Nah not at all.
But you know, it’s christmas themed and adds a personal touch I guess?
I watched a very interesting theory positing about how humanity could have evolved so early in the universe.
Well it was some crazy assumption models for statistics, so not real science at all.
It’s one of those things borders closer on philosophy with mathematics than anything anyone would actually believe.
Anyway it was interesting, but nothing more than that.
I did enjoy seeing the though process behind it though.
