I was swiping through notifications on my phone and I swear I saw one saying Stargate was getting a new series.
Which would be interesting.
But then I also swiped one saying about Voyager getting a sequel or something once, still not sure about that one.
And then…
Well for whatever reason I get a lot of scifi series news to my phone and most of the time it’s misinformation.
I don’t really pay much attention to it anymore.
It’s Easter!
At least I think it is, did I get date rights?
Ah whatever who cares.
Chocolate eggs are nice that’s all that matters.
As I write this I might also die from like, an epileptic fit or something. My lamp is flickering the hell out of my desk currently.
It’s actually so annoying I might just work in the dark from screen light alone.
I have to go to a party tomorrow with my parents, I’ve decided to take my kindle with me.
Or at least that was my plan, until I realised I actually only have one unread physical light novel left.
So I’m gonna take that with me to finish it off so I can add it to my shelfffff…. somehow.
I uh, ran out of novel shelf space again.
Also, Amazon cancelled my order of on of my Arpeggio preorders.
I guess they delayed it so far back Amazon was like “sorry, we’ll just refund”.
I’m doing this set of editing with the Blue Archive OST playing and it’s decided to reach a plethora of the depressing emotional tracks.
Really doesn’t match the mood of these chapters at all, it’s a bit funny really.
Anyway, I heard the new DnD movie is actually really decent, so I’ve decided I might try to go watch it.
I haven’t been to the cinema to watch a movie in about a year, I think the last time I went was…
Jurassic World Dominion?
Before that one though it had been genuinely multiple years since I went.
I don’t go that often at all.
Do you know a trope I love?
It’s when the most ordinary member of a group is the most broken.
How to explain it…
It’s like imagine a group of superheroes and there’s one guy who is just the logistics manager, he’s not powerful in anyway, doesn’t have any super tech.
He’s just, in charge of managing the heroes.
And yet he always manages to work out what is going on where perfectly and manages to thwart it just be sending out other people to do his bidding.
That type of thing.
Bad example, but I can’t think of a better one now.
The Princess Connect PR disaster wreck continues.
This time with them releasing the 6 star ascension for a new character.
By the way, it’s literally impossible to complete this ascension, without spending currency, before the server shutdown. Completely pointless.
Also they removed the seven shut down gacha games they had from their website, trying to hide their crimes and incompetence now to new fans.
Literally, they have 11 games, 4 are running, 7 are closed.
That is not a good look to have on your website.
The one that says they’re getting rid of the entire verified system, so now you have to pay for your tick and it’s completely worthless.
Oh and how they’re going to limit visibility to subscriptions even more, now not only are you shown at the top of replies but For You recommendations won’t show normal users anymore!
Oh and voting in polls will require the monthly subscription too.
I managed to prepare all the material I’d need to go to the appointment.
Eugh, still not looking forward to it.
I’m going to upload it all to the net first so I don’t lose it and don’t have to carry it on paper.
Speaking of which, I need to work on some other projects too.
Well, that can come after work stuff.
I need to wake up early tomorrow too…
I should apologise for the lack of polish in these two chapters, I got really delayed on scheduling them.
In other news, I bought a bottle of coke today to drink and decided it was the wrong bottle of drink to buy.
I’m going to stick to my trusted lucozade from now on!
Oh… and maybe the odd cherry coke when it does take my fancy.
This week is relatively busy for me.
I have to go to a work appointment on Wednesday, not excited about that one.
And I have to run my Star Trek Adventures rpg session on Saturday with a key player down.
Luckily I have some side content for most of the other players to do, but I don’t know if I can run it well enough.
I will try my best, as is my duty as GM.
That last chapter was an absolute treat to read, so I’m hoping this one is good too.
I always like these sorts of climaxes, I do wonder how things are going to progress now.
Obviously Rei and Lily are going to have to fight the archdemon but I doubt that will go smoothly even for them.
What interests me more is the political fallout as a result of this though.
Especially with all the backroom deals going on here.
My internet has died so forgive me if this is late or if I manage to schedule it in time.
I will do my best to not forget.
Anyway, here are the chapters that may or may not be on time.
You can blame my service provider this time! Not me!
I’ve been doing todays editing and publishing while listening to Calli’s new cover.
No specific reason.
It was just one of the first songs I saw in my suggestions when looking for something music related to loop.
It’s pretty catchy though.
Personally I would have done the subtitles differently for the chorus.
The subtitles typically go “Chu! Sorry… (for being so cute)” which is very much how the sentence should be structured.
Except in Japanese of course the “Sorry” part is the “Gomen” at the end.
In that case to keep the flavour I probably would have done the chorus differently.
Sort of like “Chu! (For being so cute)… I’m sorry.”
This chapter was really good so I couldn’t really find any places to put running commentary that felt appropriate.
I just left the chapter as is, otherwise I felt like I’d be breaking the flow or tension.
This is one of the few times I’ve decided against putting comments in not because I forgot or was too lazy, but because I was concerned about quality.
Well, that one guy from ages back who complained about my comments not being proper translation notes will be happy for once.
Good for them!
