One of my players for my Star Trek campaign has dropped out of tabletop roleplaying altogether.

This is a major problem.

I started with five players and now I have two, there’s just no way I can sustain the game at this point.
I might have to make a call for aid. It’s a problem and a half.

Today I finished getting my third character to Level 80.
Tomorrow I will start on getting my fourth to 80, after which my core team will be done and I can focus on their cones.

I am doing the editing for these chapters with an orchestral remix of the Blue Archive soundtrack.
I forgot just how epic these remixes can sound when you have so many instruments in tandem.
I can see why Genshin likes making concerts out of them.

I used to listen to these types of things a lot when writing, especially theme songs and such to get the mindset of the setting.

Recently I’ve been becoming distant with someone I considered a close friend.
I think it’s because I’ve been noticing a lot more recently they have a lot of uh… bad takes… on some topics.
In general they’re kind of starting to grate on me too.

I don’t think I will cut them off entirely, but they’ve already noticed I’ve been colder with them lately.
Oh well, I’m sure I will solve this with the power of social skills… oh wait I don’t have those!

And it was like my least favourite of what I was watching this season.
Goes to show that humans really like their junkfood.

I spent most of the day helping someone get to know how to use ChatGPT for some writing work they were doing.
No I’m not talking about having it do the writing for you, that’s absurd, although it can produce some amazing purple prose if you ask it right.
What I mean is helping my friend soundboard ideas and find gaps in their logic and lore.

Especially given the implications of certain aspects of the setting.
It’s a great little tool for that, for real.
