The steam sale is in full swing and I can’t find anything I want.
What a novel experience.
Well there are games I want, but I’m looking for fun replayable indie games that I can play for thirty minutes at a time or so.
Just something relatively casual to make a bit of progress in bit by bit.
Maybe I should go back to Satisfactory since they’re about to do an engine upgrade?
I’m sure that would be fun.
I had almost forgotten to preorder the next physical edition of a light novel I am reading.
That would be a disaster because I would forget about it entirely if I didn’t.
That’s because the physical versions release like five months after the digital ones, so the gap is large enough I would just forget to do it until after they had sold out most likely.
I actually only have two series on preorder now though, down from three.
It is kind of crazy how close to 100 we are getting.
For some reason this novel both feels like it’s going quickly and slowly.
I actually read ahead a bit after these past few chapters so I have already read these as I go to edit them.
Which is relatively rarer these days, I used to read all the chapters as they were translated back when I started.
I totally forgot what I wanted to write here today, so uh.
Have you guys seen the Jumplight Odyssey game?
The demo is out, check it.
It’s basically like “What if Space Battleship Yamato but it’s a base building game”.
It’s sort of like Two Point Hospital or Evil Genius, that kind of base planner.
Today was sunny enough that people were outside…
And going to the beach!
I think it was 21 degrees or so? Which is my tolerance level for heat, if it starts going higher I’m gonna get uncomfy again.
I really should get a fan or something for my room soon.
So I had this all written out then for some reason it failed to schedule, and deleted my ramble.
That’s weirdly the second time it’s happened on the site lately.
I wonder what the cause is, at least I caught it this time.
The sun has risen and I am not in bed.
I also have more editing to do.
Ah, weekends are hell for me, why do I leave stuff so late.
I need to finish up my Star Trek stuff too.
There is someone absolutely binge reading one of the sites novels and leaving a trail of comments behind as they go.
It’s blowing up my comment notification dropdown, which is rather amusing.
But it’s fun to read their running commentary, I am enjoying it immensely.
Anyway, here is your first chapter of the day!
I hope you enjoy it.
If there’s no chapters tomorrow it’s because I was too lazy to do them now and might be too busy with comicon stuff.
You can blame me if you want.
You should all be impressed with the fact I even scheduled a single day ahead of time to be honest.
I bought a bundle of drinks for the trip to London thinking I would probably end up drinking a couple in the days before going but I haven’t touched them at all.
Tomorrow I won’t have any of my own either because of the party thing, so I guess that means I will have a bunch of drinks for after?
Well saves me going to the shop for drinks next week haha.
Always look for the positives in a situation. Well… there are no negatives here really.
It does prove I should keep my drinks away from my room though.
The sun has completely risen and yet I am here trying to do editing and playing Star Rail instead of going to bed.
What am I doing with my life?
Anyway enjoy your chapter.
Also for some reason I started reading a new novel just now, while editing.
Like.
Can I multitask enough? Apparently not! I just do it more! Because that won’t be bad!
So the new Honkai Impact battlesuits are interesting.
Honestly didn’t expect Prometheus to become playable.
Interestingly enough to me is that Prometheus as a concept (not the character) is one of my favourites.
Both in mythology and the way it’s used in various media.
I always like Prometheus derivative characters for the most part.
Heck I even downloaded a really bad idle gacha game because Prometheus was in it.
I can’t remember what one… I think she had blue hair and these like… floaty tech things?
They’re making Shigure playable in Honkai Impact.
Which is a major surprise to me, given how she is bonded with a Sugar.
I wonder if they want to start tying up the narrative of the main Honkai with the Post-Honkai story.
And by extension Alien Space, and further extension, Star Rail.
Or maybe they will leave the Alien Space and Star Rail parts alone so it can backwards connect itself?
Not sure.
