I was tidying up my desk and I found some random notes like
“Build cost flip”
No idea what context that was in.
It probably meant I wanted to to flip the values of something in a game, likely my Stellaris mod?
Anyway this kind of random out of context short hand notes litter my journal and paper pile on my desk, sometimes they’re nostalgic to read.
Like setting concepts for rpgs I never got round to, or character ideas for short stories.

I started playing the Christmas event in Girls Frontline and Neural Cloud.
The story was okay I guess?
Well there is no story in the Neural Cloud one.
But the Girls Frontline one was passable, it was definitely a gag event though. Just character focused.
It was passable, I think FGOs were more interesting at Christmas though.

I was looking at new phones today.
I was considering long and hard what to get.
For example the Nothing Phone.
But then I saw that a few generations ahead of the phone I currently have is a half decent one that’s half the price of a Nothing Phone.
So I’m probably gonna get that.
Because I barely use my phone for anything except checking my notifications.

So after I finish posting this chapter I’m going to watch an episode of anime and take a break for a bit.
It’s a lot of work editing and scheduling these.
Especially the scheduling.
Input the chapter number, the title, make sure the translator is correct, add in the comments, set the release time, set the volume… bla bla bla…
It’s a lot of different little details and people complain when I get them wrong!
It’s draining doing that over 4 times alone, let alone making sure to do it for 40 Christmas releases!

By the time this goes live the Steam Christmas Sale should have started. So I’m gonna throw down some of my suggestions for you to pick up.
Planet Crafter – Will probably be on sale, not sure how much it will be, but it’s a good relaxing builder game. And it’s fun seeing your wasteland of a planet go from Mars to Earth as you progressively perfect the terraforming process. Great for people who want that base building experience with none of the pressure and some slight survival elements.
Haven – Honestly I don’t think I can summarise this one very well, so just go look it up and see if it’s for you. It usually drops a lot in price for sales, so I doubt this sale is any different.
Tears of Avia – An indie JRPG that is criminally underrated, I absolutely love this game, it’s an indie JRPG so obviously, don’t expect anything groundbreaking but I had a lot of fun. Some of the reviews are strangely critical, and one review is by a guy who somehow missed the entire mechanic of recruiting new members to your party. Absolute imbecile. The game is already like 10 bucks so the discount will make it super cheap, honestly just get it! And leave a good review! Say I sent you too, I speak to the dev on discord sometimes.
