While I was on twitter today I saw someone with a Girly Air Force icon.
Girly Air Force!
I didn’t even realise that franchise had much relevancy!
Last time I saw anything about it was in the afterword of a light novel, where the author was congratulating the artist for their work on Girly Air Force being used as the basis for the anime.
Wow.

Hm, I got distracted while doing this one.
So it turns out that someone started translating Vermillion again recently.
Now I remember next to nothing about that novel except that it was in my early days of reading translations, and that I was slightly bummed when it was dropped.
I’m not sure what about it I liked though or what the plot really was except isekai stuff.

Only four episodes are subbed and it ends on a cliffhanger!
It’s the best kind too! Not the annoying type, but the hype type!

I might have to add more Yamato themed weapons to my stellaris mod. Just to scratch that itch.

Wow it’s insane.

I started rewatching Yamato today because I felt like it would be good to refresh before I watched 2205 that I am behind on.
Honestly forgot how cool some of the stuff in this is, the soundtrack is on point.
I’m a little unenthusiastic about the fact that I will have to go through 2202, which had some rather poor episodes, again but overall this is hype.
I might start a Stellaris playthrough as the Earth Federation and deploy myself a Yamato!

It’s been a busy week for me at work with lots of exhaustion, but I think most of that was because of the heat.
I’m a bit worried about going forward because they’ve put another heatwave warning out.
And the country is in the middle of a drought.
I find it amusing that the countermeasures to droughts is causing us to waste water though.
AKA increasing the pressure of water pipes, but accidentally causing many of them to burst and leak as a consequence.

I just got in from watching the Perseid meteor shower.
It’s my first time actually committing to going somewhere far away to watch something like this, but it was a lot of fun.
Sadly the moon was quite bright so I didn’t see as many as I could have, but there were more than a handful of pretty ones.
A few really bright fireballs, and some with really nice tails that went over a long distance.
I can get why people like shooting stars.

I think I’m going to look up some interesting steampunk style scifi technologies tomorrow to add to my Stellaris mod.
