This is the final Christmas chapter for this novel!
I hope you enjoyed them, I will now move on to scheduling the next batch which is for Automata Maid.
I have a busy day, let’s get moving then-.

Hmmm…
I’m having mixed feelings about this story so far.
This chapter especially.

There are some good ideas here, but I feel like the tropes so far have been better executed by similar stories instead of this one.
I’ll see how it progresses, but I am starting to lose interest.

Hello!
We have three chapters for Christmas today, this is the first.
Two more will follow shortly after, so enjoy the reads!

I made a lot of errors editing and scheduling this chapter.
In my defence, I am half asleep and totally exhausted.
I am planning to prepare for Christmas ahead of time if things will be like this…

Actually… I should check what the christmas schedule is looking like… that’s a good idea…

This chapter is basically repeating content but from the protagonists POV.
Can’t say I am a particularly big fan of repeating things this way, I tend to prefer when repeats offer new insights…
So from other characters point of views where they have unique knowledge or positions.

Does that make sense?
I usually prefer a bit of a delay too.

Do Arknights players still have that weird beef with Girls Frontline players?
I mean, outside of the corporate drama behind the two games.
I just thought of it because I saw the Endfield content start to trickle out, and back when that was announced there was this big thing between GFL2 and Endfield both being 3D games with similar “vibes” and which would release first (spoilers, it was GFL by what is looking like will be two whole years at this rate).

So I usually buy some snacks and drinks to bring me through the week…
But I have finished my supply for this week ahead of schedule.
I could, of course, just go and buy some more right?

But I like to use my weekly discounts to optimise my spending…
Those don’t come through until Monday.
Alas, as such, I shall have to suffer the indignity of a day without snacks. The greatest suffering known to man.

I have nothing really to type here to be honest…
Except maybe some thoughts on Heaven Burns Red’s story…
But I haven’t finished the latest story chapter yet so I will withhold comments and theories!

Instead, it is time for me to go to bed soon.

Oh, but I did get reminded of that amusing comment someone made once on a chapter of an older novel, complaining about my asinine commentary and trying to deconstruct my random musing footnotes as if I was trying to seriously critique the story I was reading or something.
I enjoyed the fact that they got downvoted quite a lot in the responses… I felt validated.

It’s been stormy here in the UK the past couple of days.
Luckily for me it’s not in my region at all, but it’s still been pretty windy.

I heard on the news it’s caused a lot of damage along the coast on the effected side though, and there have been plenty of accidents.
For the most part it’s just been cold and wet here though, nothing major.

The absurdity of this story is still getting to me.
It’s utter nonsense.
But somehow this nonsensical trainwreck is just too good to look away from.
What a wild way of writing a story… truly special.

Anyway we’re finally out of the prologue!
Let’s gooooo!

As I type this, right now the internet seems to be freaking out about Fauna news.
Let me know how it goes when this chapter goes live, you should all have the full details by then!

As for me, I want to finish up quickly and get into bed!
It’s very late!

My internet cut out in the middle of this and I had to stay up stupidly early in the morning to get it done in time.
I will now go pass out.

Hurray, it scheduled!

I saw a tweet today that was like “The sheer autism that will be released when a new GFL2 player asks for the lore will be enough to cause minor brain damage” or some equivalent.
And I was like, yeah that checks out.
The game does escalate quite dramatically, and the lore is… well it’s certainly book worthy.

The documents that track it are hundreds of pages long. Utterly incredible work by those guys.
Lore nerds, my hat comes off to you.

When I went to University, back in like 2018, as part of my over-preparedness for niche Robinxen-like situations, I bought a massive stack of DVDs for burning things too.
You know, just in case… for reasons? I don’t actually know.
Anyway in my entire life I have used like… ten of them…
And I still keep them at my desk with my computer, just in case…

I will never use these. I mean who writes things to DVDs anymore?
Okay, actually it has a lot of use cases, but none that apply to me really…

Anyway, random factoid done. Ramble over.

I am running out of rambles because I have to post four chapters today and the only thing I have done is read ReZero and play Heaven Burns Red…
So uh…

If you haven’t read a previous ramble where I ramble about Heaven Burns Red (and if you are a player) here!
