So the Hoyoverse Boycott failed miserably.
In other news, water is wet.
0.1% of playerbase unable to achieve any meaningful goal.
Not to mention the addicts that tried to boycott Genshin by playing Star Rail and Zenless instead.
Literally nobody involved was competent I swear.
It was so funny to watch them try.
So although swapping to my backup browser solved the issue of chrome crashing while editing chapters, it hasn’t solved the issue of wordpress struggling with the 10,000 chapters we have on the site.
Yeah you read that right, this website has over 10,000 chapters!
11,854 pages to be exact the time of this scheduling…
Obviously that does a number on the service when trying to load them all.
I got reminded of an anime that my brain automatically sorted into “that ancient era of anime” due to what I remembered of it.
The concept and general designs felt very old school so I just accepted that I was probably right.
So I went and looked it up, and it was from 2013…
That wouldn’t be too bad, if it wasn’t for the fact the top comment on the video I used to look it up was “I remembered watching this when I was 7″…
I am so tired.
It’s been really hot all day, and it’s not pleasant.
It’s still not heat death level, but just, annoyingly warm levels.
This is what the lack of cooling methods does to a person.
If only I had decent ventilation in my room, I swear.
The first episode of Why Does Nobody Remember Me is out.
I need go watch it.
I am on the fence about it though, the studio isn’t one exactly known for this genre…
I am allowed to have apprehensions about it okay!
Well, I’m sure it won’t be terrible… probably.
After the Steins;Gate event in Neural Cloud I have suddenly got loads of Steins;Gate videos thrown at me by youtube this last couple of days.
Anyway crazy how that game is 15 years old now.
15 years!
Absolutely insane.
You can feel the passage of time between the first and second game by the fact the second game uses a smartphone while the first is a flipphone.
Do kids even know what flip phones are these days?
I just gave myself psychic damage.
The 2.5D anime was……..
A let down.
I mean why adapt trashy ecchi manga series only to completely eliminate that factor?
Just adapt something else if you don’t want it!
There are other options! Good ones even! You could adapt something legitimately amazing that people will like!
Finished the Talos Principle II DLC today, was good.
The first one was a bit too easy and unimportant, didn’t feel like it added anything.
The second one was great, loved every minute of it, was great fun and rewarding to play.
The third one was… a bit mixed. The puzzles were harder but impossible, I had to break my no-tutorial streak for one.
The second was the standout.
Though… the teaser for more to come was nice, since it will follow up directly on the final plot thread.
I realised today I downloaded a bunch of demos during that next fest week then never played any…
Some seem to still be active thankfully, but most are not.
Which is a shame because one of the inactive ones is one I wanted to try most!
Oh well, no problem really, I would probably forget about these games by the time they release anyway hahaha.
To my annoyance we fall on a month change date…
This isn’t actually a problem, it just means I have to use the month drop down menu on the date scheduling.
It adds two clicks to my process…
This is enough to annoy me.
Yes…
I am petty.
Although to be fair it’s like 6 clicks in total, because I have three chapters today…
With full confirmation of Star Trek Prodigy coming to Netflix I am both happy and upset.
For one, I don’t have Netflix, so that’s a problem.
But, for the most part, also happy to hear it found somewhere to show and we have a date!
Not a fan of the Netflix style “dump it all at once” though…
I like it when shows are weekly, it drives conversation and cultural impact!
People want time to digest and share things!!!
So the two new girls got their debuts.
Elizabeth was very British. Almost too British.
I actually struggled listening to her accent because it felt abnormally British!
She’s definitely had professional training is all I could feel.
We got into quite a debate over where she’s from.
Scouse got the most votes in our discord, scouse with professional training to sound southern.
She was using slang from all over the country so it was hard to place, but we figured she’s probably not a native Londoner…
When I saw the chapter number my first thought was that a 180 is half of a 360…
And then I remembered how back in the day it used to be all the rage to randomly shout 360 before doing something…
I think it was something to do with first person shooters?
To be honest I have never been in that crowd so I don’t really understand it.
I sort of skipped over all of that stuff, I was too busy playing simulation games…
I still am…
Although today I was playing a puzzle game!
Father’s day is this weekend.
I have fully decided on buying my dad a new microwave.
It seems like an utterly deranged present I know, but my mum has been complaining that it’s the only white appliance in the kitchen.
And my dad is the person who uses the microwave most, aside from my brother, so I figured he was the best person to pick what one he wanted for practical purpose.
Well, it’s an expensive present so it sort of doubles as a general gift…
I bought them an oven for Christmas…
And a few years back I bought them a new iron too…
Since when did I start buying appliances like this…?
