Ah the hololive drama.
I don’t really want to mention it too much. Honestly I think what ‘China’ is doing is ridiculous.
However I sympathise with Cover.
They basically have to bend the knee here or they risk severely damaging the livelihoods of the entire China branch of Hololive.
That’s not just the people who manage it, but the girls who stream there too!
If they get branded negatively for just being associated with the company it’d be a huge issue!
I hit 1000 logins on FGO yesterday. Or today. Or whenever I got that login bonus relative to when this chapter goes live.
It’s crazy to see such a large number honestly!
I don’t think I’ve ever stuck with anything specific this long before.
Just goes to show my dedication!
And there are people with even more than me as I skipped several months and missed several days!
I also had that whole issue with emulators being banned and my phone sucking at the time.
I always hate it when I have to schedule on a month changeover day. Luckily I miss it this month.
But I always manage to screw up.
Because I always schedule it for ‘tomorrow’ on the site time (which is actually just later today in my time) but on month changeovers I have to compensate for that.
I usually screw that part up in some way.
I have been sat on my foot for two hours…it is very dead. I am very scared to move. Send help.
Also in other news I started streaming Satisfactory again and I did lots of maths for working out what to do with my factory and it’s going to be a nightmare.
The thing I need to make are the hardest in the game and they require so many components.
I’m basically having to build a duplicate of my factory setup that makes every item I’ve unlocked…just to make one item. It needs that many components!
I’m going to build it somewhere else too for the fun of it I think. Somewhere very far away.
I’ll figure out how to bring it back afterwards!
Speaking of qualifications.
Did you know I have both a medical and a boat license?
I also once had a lifeguard license.
And this weird industrial laser machine thingymabob.
Among other things.
I had a really long conversation today about that time I wanted to become a pilot and all the problems around it.
Like the expensive nature of getting qualified, which needs you to pay for the exams, the lessons, the planes and the instructor…
And then the fact that when qualified you need to get a job, but to start with you can only do short haul. But pilots only get paid for their hours in the air. So short hauls are really bad earners because you spend equal time in airports and equal time in the air.
But to do the well paying long haul flights you need hundreds of hours of experience doing short haul flights.
Basically you have to invest in becoming a pilot. And I am poor.
It’s 4am and I had a few things I could write here, but I’m not really sure which is best or hasn’t been said before.
So instead I will talk about this thing outside my window.
Basically I can’t see any stars tonight, but there’s this one bright light floating there.
Can’t tell if it’s just a bright star, seems unlikely.
A planet, seems more likely.
Or something that’s on someone’s roof over the road. No idea.
Immortal Dreamer hasn’t been translating for a long time now, but I still haven’t updated the template to have Aoi’s name in the translator slot and have to manually correct it every chapter.
You’d think for someone who hates putting in effort like me I would have done that by now but changing the template is effort in its own right.
The best person for the job finds the easiest way of doing it.
That is not me.
Commissioning art is really hit or miss. I mentioned a while back that I messaged someone about getting some done but they ended up being full currently, and the second person has decided to close their commissions to focus on other things now which basically means I need to find someone else.
But I chose those first two based on their price-quality ratio.
Everyone else is either cheaper with lower quality or more expensive with superior quality.
So eventually my PC is going to get fixed and then I’m going to start streaming again but then one of my friends offered to make some stream overlay stuff and transition cards among other things.
But problem is I don’t know what style to go for.
What sort of style?
The only thing that comes to mind is like…techy? I dunno.
Quick gimme ideas! Maybe I could use the outline of the FGO servant cards for the webcam border?
I dunno.

Also Sword Art Online was pretty great this latest episode. I loved this part of the novels so I hope the next two episodes to it all justice, including the foreshadowing and sort of side story events that happen regarding other things.
I wonder how it will go.
So as expected I am very tired. Well staying up all night after getting up early to watch the Hololive EN debuts would do that, I actually overslept until dinner and barely made it for my weekly RPG sessions. Which by the way you should go and watch on the twitch channel hint_plays which I haven’t totally linked here for any reason at all.
This week we were playing Crimson Skies. Stuff happened. It was pretty fun.
Planes are cool.

I think everyone over at ReLibrary is starting to get tired.
Fana is tired with fixing server stuff to get that all prepped for changeover.
Silva is tired of micromanaging translators.
Aoi is tired of typing “Word Count” so many times he’s resorted to “—“.
And I’m tired because it’s 5am.
I hoped nobody awakened any new preferences last chapter.
I don’t want to be held responsible.

Anyway moving on to todays chapter that I totally didn’t almost forget to schedule.
My replacement computer part is STILL in America.
Curse you pandemic shipping delays.
I find it really funny though because it keeps going back and forth between Ohio and Kentucky.
I forgot Kentucky was a real state.
You only ever encounter that word in KFC over here in the UK.
