Surprise! Christmas chapter!

It’s a duplicated pre-chapter ramble from another post I made!
So yeah, there’s this December release schedule…
I don’t remember what it is, but you’ll be getting loads of extra chapters this month!
I actually forgot to schedule this chapter in advance…
The website is a few hours ahead of me so it’s actually already December by the site calendar…
Alright I have been watching art streams for so many hours I actually forgot I was in the middle of editing…
The sun has risen…
My youngest brother has gone to school…
I think I should stop watching, finish this, and go to bed…
Seeing both my latest art commissions being done in real time is really interesting.
I think the thing I have noticed most though is just how much of a difference equipment quality can make.
Also for some reason my PC has started lagging.
But anyway, one artist is using a multipurpose tablet for the art and it really shows compared to the one with a professional art tablet in what it can handle.
I think I will comm the first artist a few more times to give them the funds to upgrade their gear just to see how much their quality improves.
Because they’re already really good even with that detriment.
My latest art commission is making good progress.
The artist is testing out a new style with it too, so it’s been interesting to see the variations as they try things out.
And I also have my other Christmas commission about to get started soon, I look forward to that.
Two commissions going to be delivered together, a good time.
My weekly discounts refresh today, I hope I get some decent ones.
I probably won’t, last week was like a jackpot for me getting the biscuit and drink brand I love most.
Cosmic balance will be achieved by giving me awful discounts for brands I couldn’t even recognise the name of most likely.
Not all things must be balanced. When weighing good against evil, tip the scales.
I got distracted by someone who thinks that their opinions on aesthetics must be applied as law to all art direction in media.
AKA they wanted to give the robots, of a puzzle game, sex appeal.
Absolutely ridiculous.
Their further arguments showed they were completely detached from the games premise too.
Arguing about things like not being able to swim and them being robots etc.
Anyway, total idiot, I was going to write a reply but didn’t bother.
Project Neural Cloud got the major anniversary update and story stuff…
I was enjoying it for a bit until…
I learned how the anniversary character skin bingo worked.
I thought it was just an exaggerated way of making the player do missions for rewards but it’s actually a trap.
The free rewards only get you enough for a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny almost impossible chance of a jackpot.
The only way to get the skin is to pay money to remove all the junk rewards until you get to the skin.
Somebody remind me to send my important email.
I need to send it when this chapter goes live.
Hopefully a notification about a comment will serve as a good reminder.
Someone I know managed to get caught in a discord scam today.
Well it happened while I was sleeping, I just woke up to the drama and aftermath.
Horrible stuff really… I think?
My corner shop membership card finally pulled through for me!
Two of my optional discounts this week are McVities and Lucozade…
It’s starting to learn that I buy hobnobs and lucozades all the time.
Someone I know has started doing a world building project and I just keep spamming tropes I like at them.
No regard for their actual integration or anything just…
“I like these types of things” and the like.
I don’t even know what they’re actually doing with most of it now.
I’m just going to be amused once it’s done if at least one thing I sent ends up in it.
I am actually truly stumped for prechapter rambles today.
I can’t think of a thing at all, well I have been busy today.
Actually, one of my appointments for this week got rescheduled to next week… on the same day as another appointment.
So I need to reschedule the other one (so I seem less rude than rerescheduling).
I need to prepare for another meeting this week.
I think it’s my last one this year since they tend to close for Christmas.
Which means I need to compile evidence of what I’ve done this year to look like I’ve actually done stuff.
Well, actually to be honest I have done more this year than last year.
And last year was my personal best.
So I guess that makes this year my new best…
It was still only a handful of interviews though. Life is hard.
Sigh.
We live in troubled times…
The trouble you ask?
It’s me learning that the £1 discounts on my membership card were not a weekly thing and did end up running out eventually.
Alas…
So sad.
Now all I am left with is useless ones for specific brands and products…
Yet I only buy from two brands at this store…
It seems my membership card will mostly collect dust now.
