Recently I’ve been becoming distant with someone I considered a close friend.
I think it’s because I’ve been noticing a lot more recently they have a lot of uh… bad takes… on some topics.
In general they’re kind of starting to grate on me too.

I don’t think I will cut them off entirely, but they’ve already noticed I’ve been colder with them lately.

Somehow the only anime I kept up to date on and finished so far this season was that Aristocrat isekai one.
And it was like my least favourite of what I was watching this season.
Goes to show that humans really like their junkfood.

Or well, being able to turn their brain off when they want to unwind instead of focusing on a show that’s actually good.

Anyway it’s super hot in the UK lately, and my supply of drinks has been exhausted.

Also I can what is either thunder or a plane outside right now.
I think it’s a plane because of how long it’s been making a sound but it’s rare to get loud planes around here because we’re not near any airports or major flight paths.

I spent most of the day helping someone get to know how to use ChatGPT for some writing work they were doing.
No I’m not talking about having it do the writing for you, that’s absurd, although it can produce some amazing purple prose if you ask it right.
What I mean is helping my friend soundboard ideas and find gaps in their logic and lore.

Especially given the implications of certain aspects of the setting.
It’s a great little tool for that, for real.
