I just realised the date, in a couple of days I have to go for my unemployment meeting again…
This time with a new lady. She’s on the top floor of the building instead of the middle…
Not looking forward to it. Sigh.
Anyway, I need to prepare all my documents and stuff for that.
And also update my online details because a few of my applications have come back completely dead.
One of them is uh…. in a weird state where they messed it up, so, yay!
I need to tidy my room.
That was an epiphany I had today.
I suddenly realised that it is progressively reaching cliche neet territory.
I counted 10 empty bottles of drink.
My mission is to recycle them, tomorrow.
I will definitely remember.
Just like I said when there were 9 bottles.
I didn’t know this before but apparently the apostrophe in Knight’s and Magic gives pain to more people than just me.
I shared it in a discord of non-anime people saying that “Oh I guess they’re keeping it in English.”
And four people responded in agony.
It seems grammatical rules remain steadfast even in a language where we readily ignore them.
Imagine being consistent, am I right?
Recently I’ve been struggling to come up with these prechapter rambles.
I wonder why it’s become harder lately, it’s not like anything more or less is happening to me each day.
Maybe it’s the variety or type of things?
Some of it is private matters but I’ve never shied away from adjusting them slightly to just ramble anyway.
And we all know I don’t shy away from talking about my job hunting melancholy.
Oh well, this will pass for todays ramble!
The Talos Principle 2 releases in a few more weeks.
I need to make sure I don’t forget to preorder it.
I plan to do it closer to the release date just because…
I could do it now but I am weird like that.
I shall blame autism!
Anyway, I’m super stoked for this game, I loved the first one.
I watched the first couple of episodes for Gluttony.
I remembered why I dropped the manga really early on because of it.
The entire thing just feels off.
I don’t understand why it got such high praises back in the day…
Maybe people were starved for revenge flicks?
Strange.
So the new season is fully upon us and Excalibur Academy is airing its first episode.
On one hand I want to watch it, but on the other I am not sure I can handle the ecchi shotacon aspects of it…
That said the girls are super nice…
Dilemma indeed.
Well, I say this but I will end up watching it because I always end up trying to watch everything in the season, getting five episodes in, and then starting to get tired of how much time I am dedicating to keeping up with anime and start falling behind and then repeat the next season as my watchlist forever grows…
What happened to the days I could watch 12 episodes at once?!
I watched a video about Ace Combat today.
Honestly not sure why… my only exposure to the franchise in its entire lifespan has been the fact it was on the PSP store and that it has a modern reimagining of the Shinden.
You might not know this, but I am actually a fan of the Shinden plane.
I think it showed up in that one aviation anime as a boss right at the end in its hypothetical jet configuration once and I totally got excited by it.
It’s also in a visual novel I love, which is part of the reason I love it.
So yeah, I have considered a few times buying Ace Combat 7 just to get to fly about in a modernised derivative of it.
My friends have got the new Fate game and seem to be enjoying it.
Including one of my best friends.
They keep sending me random out of context lore condensed into a single sentence that I do not know what to make of.
Sometimes it confuses me, sometimes the purpose of sending me it in the first place confuses me, generally it’s amusing though.
It’s cute to see someone get super invested in something and need to share it with people. He says to absolve himself of guilt when he does the same.
Hello everyone!
We now start the 10th volume!
I actually forgot we were starting a new volume today, what a good time to start it.
New month, new volume, new week too.
This chapter is titled “Dojigiri-Yasutsuna”
And I think the below comment on the patreon edition summarises it well:
Silva: Title drooooop!!! Damn, I really thought Lily had to do a really long fetch quests (like in most common RPG games) and find the whatsit princess in whatchamacallit island to upgrade Yastusuno… not like this.
This chapter is actually meant to be in two parts but the scheduler for uploads did not account for this and told me to upload 930 and 931 today.
As a result you get three chapters this today!
You may rejoice.
Clap for me.
Both parts of 930 have been combined into this MEGA chapter for your reading pleasure.
You are most welcome. I worked overtime to edit a third chapter today.
I applied to a job the other night and haven’t received an immediate rejection.
This is the second time I haven’t been immediately rejected by a company with a “we will let you know immediately if you fail” policy.
This means that I might get an interview.
I finished the Crimson Fleet questline in Starfield today.
I was pleasantly surprised by it, I did kind of rush through it though because I was only doing it for the ending where you defeat the pirates instead of join them.
That said, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that there were unique ship parts connected to the questline.
I shouldn’t have been too surprised.
The UC Vanguard questline also had unique Vanguard ship weapons and shield tech, but they were just variants of existing weapons.
No the Crimson Fleet quests actually had some stat buffing ship equipment you unlock through it!
Which kind of sucks because I destroyed all the pirates in the finale so now I only have one ship that will ever have those unique parts…
(They’re really good parts.)
I also like the lore behind them.
I’ve reached a point in my Starfield playthrough where I am now doing quests purely because I want to do the questlines rather than them making sense for my character.
Like I joined a gang for one mission then I starter another and now I am making questionable chemical substances.
None of these make sense for my character but dammit I want to experience the different stories and get that exp!
Also I laughed quite a bit when I did one of the missions and had to apply for a grunt job but my character backstory and skills were all geared to like high end academics, so they said I was grossly overqualified.
