Someone I know managed to get caught in a discord scam today.
Well it happened while I was sleeping, I just woke up to the drama and aftermath.
Horrible stuff really… I think?
My corner shop membership card finally pulled through for me!
Two of my optional discounts this week are McVities and Lucozade…
It’s starting to learn that I buy hobnobs and lucozades all the time.
Someone I know has started doing a world building project and I just keep spamming tropes I like at them.
No regard for their actual integration or anything just…
“I like these types of things” and the like.
I don’t even know what they’re actually doing with most of it now.
I’m just going to be amused once it’s done if at least one thing I sent ends up in it.
I am actually truly stumped for prechapter rambles today.
I can’t think of a thing at all, well I have been busy today.
Actually, one of my appointments for this week got rescheduled to next week… on the same day as another appointment.
So I need to reschedule the other one (so I seem less rude than rerescheduling).
I need to prepare for another meeting this week.
I think it’s my last one this year since they tend to close for Christmas.
Which means I need to compile evidence of what I’ve done this year to look like I’ve actually done stuff.
Well, actually to be honest I have done more this year than last year.
And last year was my personal best.
So I guess that makes this year my new best…
It was still only a handful of interviews though. Life is hard.
Sigh.
We live in troubled times…
The trouble you ask?
It’s me learning that the £1 discounts on my membership card were not a weekly thing and did end up running out eventually.
Alas…
So sad.
Now all I am left with is useless ones for specific brands and products…
Yet I only buy from two brands at this store…
It seems my membership card will mostly collect dust now.

About the time of the reveal of what’s beyond the walls I think?
I thought it was cool at first but the execution and where the story went just killed my excitement for the world they could have been exploring.
With Halloween passing we must now look forward to the inevitable collapse of our finances that is Christmas shopping.
Or in my case, Christmas commissions!
Haha… no for real I have a huge family… Christmas shopping always kills me… It’s like extended torture for an entire month…
Anyway…
I will still get at least one Christmas themed piece of artwork! I just need to choose who and what!

I don’t play anymore actually, but Dr Ratio made me laugh.
It’s a bold name but I can respect the audacity.

I have two light novels that are coincidentally scheduled to arrive sometime around Christmas.
Well okay that’s a lie…
One of them is anytime from Christmas until my birthday…

Can never win.
I foolishly made an art commission today out of an accidental impulse.
I had a vague idea for a commission and saw an artist open requests…
So I decided to feel them out and see what they thought of the idea and if we could nail a concept.
We spent a long time on it…
Then they named their price and it was… high…
But it had been so much talking by that point that I felt I couldn’t pull back.
Alas… I will just have to use some of my savings, oh well.
I can probably make up for it eventually.
I have a hellish interview to attend on Wednesday.
Luckily Talos Principle 2 releases the next day.
So I have a kind of reward for myself for surviving it… sort of…
I’m really stoked for that game, I’m probably gonna end up streaming it for the first time in forever.
Though I will probably just play it on discord.
I signed up for membership at my local shop weeks ago and still haven’t got my card…
I even made sure to request a new card just to be sure and it said it would arrive in 10 days over a week ago.
So I shall give them until the end of the week before I give up on their entire existence!
I joke, I’ll just stop caring about it.
There is an obnoxiously large fly in my room and I cannot for the life of me work out how it got in.
It wasn’t here earlier.
My window is closed.
My door is closed.
And worse I can’t catch it at all since it refuses to land anywhere.
I have opened my door and my hope is that it will fly out…
