I actually have to recommend To Be Hero X.
The bizarre combination of Chinese and Japanese content is kind of surreal, but this show has some serious personality to it just from the two episodes currently out, and the production quality is really there. I know the director and writer have a good history, but I am glad the budget supports it this time too.

Especially since it makes proper use of its own concepts straight away, the idea that hero powers are a product of public trust in an individual is more than just a gimmick!
Even the protagonist (or current protagonist, I am assuming this will turn into a series of interconnected stories with an ensemble cast later) starts off in the advertising business just to place emphasis that public image is king in the hero business.

Okay… well there are a lot of things better.
But I enjoyed that feeling!
I only did it because I was curious and I am glad I did.

And the new group is atrocious. Not even in translation quality – because I can’t actually READ it to check.
But their website is ad infested hellhole that CLOSES ITS OWN TAB.
And even if you manage to battle through that, the chapters I could find were as download links!

You have to download the chapters from their website to read them!
No way in hell am I ever going to do that from such a sketchy site.
I have fully abandoned hope of reading the continuation of that web novel now.

Someone really went out there and started translating the manga that was custom made just for me, I am so glad.

And then you add on the fact the little sister is a red eyed and blonde haired cutie?

If I had noticed this I would have prepared an april fools chapter.
It would have been fun to repeat what I did on that one site which stole our chapters… I completely ruined some poor readers experience of Nanako on one of those fake sites, because they thought one of my made up chapters was a genuine one, and they loathed the content of that chapter.

They really really hated what Nanako did in my bonus chapter.
