So today I learned that Shapez have made a fully independent game!
You know the browser game that eventually fleshed out to a standalone game…
Well now it has a sequel that’s standalone from the ground up.
I tried playing it but the moment the rotation and stuff got involved in the games 3D space my head just melted.
However it’s an improvement over the original in a lot of ways.
I think I’ll stick to Satisfactory though. More my speed. Which recently got the 1.0 final release announced for the end of this year!

I realised when I got to the shop today I had miscalculated…
I went because I have a meeting this week and thought I could get some snacks in advance to keep my energy up as well as for today.
So I bought two days of snacks.
I forgot that there is a day between today and my meetings…
I should have gone tomorrow and not today.
I have a meeting this week
I have another meeting the same day too.
The meetings are 20 minutes apart…
The bus takes 40…
I have to choose one meeting!!!
I contacted one group and they haven’t responded.
I am now unsure what to do… do I contact the other meeting to cancel too?
But what if they both cancel as a result of that?
Ah this is such a mess.
I got into an argument with a friend today.
It’s rare for me to do that.
It probably won’t end up being a big deal… I think.
But I think our different approaches to the situation have been rubbing for a long term, they just have a habit of deferring the situation so as to not cause conflict.
I make it sound like they’re the one in the right saying it like that, but it’s really a neither of us is wrong situation.
I think I ate a snack earlier that was spoiled in some way.
I only had a variety of small snacks though, so it’s nothing bad.
Just some minor discomfort of something my body is not agreeing with.
I managed to give myself a papercut today.
It still annoys me.
Luckily it’s not anywhere I use while on a computer since it’s on the inside of my finger rather than the tip.
I would go mad if I had to stop using an entire finger to type…
I’ve been listening to the Invaders of the Rokujouma opening song today.
I should really reread the light novels I have for that series…
Actually I should finish reading the final books for it entirely.
I held back on reading them for months so that I could read the collectors edition all at once.
But then just… forgot about reading them and put them on display.
Oops.
Why is there so much drama about Palworld?
I mean this is coming from the people who made a fortnite-genshin ripoff.
Why are people so shocked about the pokemon ripoff?
Is it because it’s actually better than pokemon?
I get that…
Imagine being upstaged by an indie game on your own territory.
Tsukimichi introduced the bi- ahem, the heroes… which was great, but the episode overall kind of sucked I think.
They spent a full episode going over the summoning of both the other heroes and assembling their parties so the pacing was a little slow.
Don’t get me wrong, I completely appreciate world building, but this felt like a lazy way to handle it. It’s clear that this was episode 2 instead of episode 1 because they wanted to lead with the protagonist as well.
The one thing they got right though was conveying the female heroes complete sense of entitlement to success, I hated her way of thinking in the novel. At least playboy hero was more a victim of circumstance.
The new oven I bought my parents for Christmas has been installed now.
We’re still getting used to some of the minor differences but otherwise it’s been really simple.
Well, ovens are ovens I suppose, and it’s not like we got an over the top smart one.
I do like the new one though.
And all the quirks we’re finding are more likely actually us having to unlearn the quirks of our super old oven.
I slept horribly last night.
I woke up and felt tired, so I set a slightly later alarm.
But then it went off and I still felt tired.

It was not good.
After I finish this chapter I am just going to go to bed…
My bed is warm.
It benefits from both being a high bed and the fact I have thick covers.
I can bundle myself like an anime girl.
