The new oven I bought my parents for Christmas has been installed now.
We’re still getting used to some of the minor differences but otherwise it’s been really simple.
Well, ovens are ovens I suppose, and it’s not like we got an over the top smart one.
I do like the new one though.
And all the quirks we’re finding are more likely actually us having to unlearn the quirks of our super old oven.
I slept horribly last night.
I woke up and felt tired, so I set a slightly later alarm.
But then it went off and I still felt tired.

This repeated for about three hours of extra sleep…
It was not good.
After I finish this chapter I am just going to go to bed…
My bed is warm.
It benefits from both being a high bed and the fact I have thick covers.
I can bundle myself like an anime girl.
I feel like my fingers are about to freeze off, in my own room no less.
I guess this is what happens when your window gets stuck in Vent mode because the hinge is unaligned…
Such is my misfortune.
I even turned my radiator on the highest setting I have ever had it today!
Goes to show how cold it is this winter…
It’s actually below freezing right now.

I suppose it’s because they’re new anthems they can make them more suited for modern audiences, as opposed to our historical hand-me-down ones that tend to be rather dull?
I can summarise today as “The Mysterious Case of the Sneezing Curse”.

I need to make some time to catch up tomorrow.
I only noticed when I saw a youtube short thumbnail with it on while scrolling by, then belated registered what it was.
It’s harder to keep track of Chinese releases for things.
Kind of funny how I am more excited to see that then I am to see SoLevel.

Irregular at Magic High got another animation announcement.
Looks like 2024 might be another heavy hitting year.
I spent most of today trying to catch up with Project Neural Cloud’s events that I wasn’t able to focus on while sick.
I don’t think I will be able to complete the entire reward track for the Christmas event because of this delay, which kind of sucks.
Luckily the character event for Undine was really easy to get the last few unclaimed rewards from.
Well, I have a week left.
I guess I can focus on the Blue Archive event I’ve been half doing now.
Pretty sure I just have the story left on that though.
This is the last of the sudden extra batch!

I was checking my wishlist and saw a game on there called City of Atlantis.
Apparently it’s been announced for almost two years now but no sign of a release date…
When I think about game development it scares me really.
Imagine having to pay for a team and their equipment for multiple years before even getting income!
No wonder indie devs ended up being eaten by the Epic Store for that extra cash.
Apparently a few bits of this chapter weren’t translated entirely accurately.
That’s not to say they were translated badly… uh I don’t know how to phrase it.
Anyway, if some stuff seems a bit off it might be because of that.
It was touched up though, so, hopefully we got it all!
My craving for scifi has grown a lot lately that I was actually tempted to try writing something.
I was reminded of that web novel about being reincarnated as a spaceship and thought it would be interesting to do the same.
But in the more “Vending Machine” style.
Someone being reincarnated as a small spaceship and then acquiring points to upgrade themselves over time or something?
Hm, I wonder if that would be interesting.
Alternatively being a flagship is good…
