After multiple attempts at the mission of “Complete 16 floors of the event” I finally worked out that the mission isn’t cumulative!!!
So the event has a roguelite gimmick to it, but the main content ends after the 12th floor, then it just goes random.
I have always been playing to the 12th floor then quitting when prompted if I want to optionally continue…

But I needed to keep going for 4 more floors to do the mission!
So annoying! I wasted so much time replaying those 12 floors trying to meet other mission criteria at the same time!

I accidentally ended up reading about 150 chapters of a webcomic today.
I didn’t even mean to, I just lost track of time and the story was actually progressing decently.
Although the sudden unexpected five year time jump took me by complete surprise.

Normally I hate that kind of shoving the protagonist into the future thing but it worked out in the end.
Also, the ships were sailing, the author did a good job on actually making ships sail.
Every piece of bait was followed up on.

Today was really weird, I was reminded of the Cheat Skill anime while browsing through anime to stream.
Then I remembered I haven’t checked up on the LN releases for that recently and there might be a new volume for me to read.
Then, hours later, when I was preparing to do my editing and log off I noticed the manga had a chapter release.

This must be some kind of cosmic force at work!

I actually think the light novel is about to reach the place the anime ended, so finally new content.
