I spent it fighting with Amazon customer support over them shipping a book SIX MONTHS late.
And then delaying the other book I preordered!
I actually raged and just screwed with the orders out of annoyance which just made me more annoyed.
So, I plan to stop buying physical books from Amazon out of protest.
If I can find a decent replacement…

Been playing Helldivers 2 more, with some unexpected friends now!
A group of people I used to speak to on a now defunct anime discord server.
I never expected a reunion in this fashion, but it happened.
Also the first time we voice called despite having chatted regularly for years…

Anyway, I have reached level 8 now, so I am finally starting to unlock some more interesting things.
Not good at the game still though.

Originally I was going to wait and play Helldivers more, but I think Helldivers works better as a casual side game now I have played it more.
But then again, I have a lot of other games on my list of games I am considering buying too…

I ended up giving Helldivers a second shot today with some friends.
I had a lot more fun in the chaos than before.
I think it was because I was in a full team instead of a half team this time.
Struggling hard on hard though, possibly because the planets effects was causing a ludicrous number of chargers to spawn.
I have, genuinely no idea what to write here today.
I don’t think I’ve actually done anything at all today somehow.
I just spent it chatting with friends and watching youtube.
Didn’t even play one of my two ongoing games…
I did mean to try out some more helldivers but who knows what happened that plan, gone midnight now so won’t be doing that tonight!
I was convinced by a friend to buy Helldivers today.
It was… okay?
I’m not a shooter person, I had some fun, I’m honestly on the fence about it.
The big problem I have right now is that I sit right on the refund time, so if I try it some more I can’t refund it.
But I don’t want to refund it without giving it a proper shot so it’s hard to tell.
My concern is that my social anxiety and general lack of competence at shooters will prevent me from playing with anyone except my friends, and that means I am entirely at the whim of my friends to get to play the game.
I have a specific craving for mint chocolate…
The shops are closed though.
Actually I’m not even sure if the shop closest to me sells mint chocolates, their selection is weirdly biased towards caramel stuff for some reason.
Must just sell better I guess.
I defeated the third tower boss in palworld today, but I am starting to hit limits on my ability to do things based on my level and production capacity.
Well it’s an incomplete game so the endgame turning into a slog is mostly expected, there just isn’t enough content for it to hold a consistent curve with the way levelling is handled.
I suppose I will turn to breeding to max out the deck, but that will require me finally attending to my original base which I mostly abandoned and making it capable of producing the materials I need in the quantities I need now.
I am horribly disappointed to learn that the Japanese name for Shadowbeak is “Xenogrif”
That name had literally wrote itself, there was no need to localise it!
It’s not even localised!
Where did Shadowbeak come from?!
