Editor for and Demon Sword Maiden!
Gentrified NEET and siscon.
Currently looking for an imouto. Applicants must be under the age of 16, cute and with long hair.
Optional traits are: Neko, princess and/or maid.
Recently my youtube shorts section has been flooded with Rin Penrose content.
Which is great, I won’t complain.
I don’t think even I could be that unapologetically British without trying.
Although maybe I do come across that way to the people I play games with?
I will never know, nor will I ever ask.
Anyway moving on from that.
As I opened this chapter to edit I was like “Oh god yes we were in the middle of this weren’t we!”
Which just goes to show how quickly you lose track of what you’re working on when you have multiple editing projects + personal reading.
Absolutely insane that authors can keep track of most things honestly.
Like I forget what I’ve edited but they have to remember everything they wrote going all the way back.
Well, there’s a reason novels need so many editing passes.
As I was editing Star Trek Prodigy released some clips of the upcoming season.
Not only is The Doctor returning, a favourite of mine, but they showed off the Voyager-A!
They made Voyager look sleek and sexy!
I am a little disappointed that it looks like a straight modification of the Voyager design, but it follows the evolution.
I would have liked a little more distinction personally but that’s not really important.
The omnibus set for Magical Index releases in a couple of days.
I’ve checked my bank it looks like I have just enough to pay for it with some left over.
In my hobby account that is.
I have two bank accounts, one for hobby spending.
It’s a good way of budgeting, but it does mean if I forget about peorders I end up screwing up.
The Star Trek Strange New Worlds musical episode has started to become earwormy for me.
The Klingon K-Pop was awesome enough.
But the song I’m The X was great, I was a bit worried about how they’d handle the development of that.
Anyway, good thing the timeline is back to cohesion.
Okay so, I actually forgot I had this open to post. So good think I left it open and didn’t shut down my pc last night!
Here’s your chapter.
Oh and the original ramble that was here was all about recycling, but that’s pretty boring.
It was something about buying lottery tickets by putting cans in machines.
I think I saw it on a youtube short.
I meant to do some more of the Girls Frontline event today and totally forgot, I just left the emulator open all day.
So that’s a day of farming lost for me, since I have more important things to do now.
Oh well, it’s not the end of the world but it’s still a bit of a pain.
Chapter 900!
That’s insane!
Assuming we do a Christmas release batch we’ll reach 1000 before the end of the year!
If not then it’ll be at the start of next year.
Which is equally as crazy to think about when you consider it’s literally getting on for the final quarter now.
I forgot that I have a video meeting tomorrow.
Oh boy, that’s gonna be fun.
I’m not looking forward to that one at all.
Well, at least I will get it over with, I need to remember when it is though.
And remember what service the video meeting was on… why are there so many softwares for that now?
I was originally going to talk about how the Neural Cloud stuff is a really interesting case study in gacha game management.
Anyway, it’s just the first time I’ve seen a schedule like they’re using.
Not only are they blitzing through the original servers content, but they’re also releasing things in a different order.
We’ve had events feature characters not released yet.
We’ve had characters released before their events.
We’ve had one character release an entire six months early.
Like, they’re on a race to get through the backlog of content at an unhealthy speed.
And I’m back!
So, yesterday was the end of our daily chapter month, and this means that today is back to regular programming!
We have two chapters for you today, and two more tomorrow. Just like it used to be.
Hurray for normalcy!
Although it probably doesn’t feel any different yet for you since it’s still daily…
You know I actually thought there were 30 days this month for some reason?
Evidently there are 31.
I can tell you that because I am scheduling this for the 31st.
Hurray for dates!
I hate these months though because I have to schedule something for next month which means interacting with… THE DROPDOWN!
I hate having to use the dropdown to make the month change for scheduled chapters, so annoying.
I have decided to purchase the Star Trek Adventures book for Lower Decks next week.
But first I want to see if I can min-max the interest I get from my bank by depositing all my money into my savings account the day they calculate it.
The only reason I want to try it is because the economy has fallen apart so hard they raised my interest in this month to an amount where, get this…
I could buy a packet of biscuits with the interest!
