I foolishly made an art commission today out of an accidental impulse.
I had a vague idea for a commission and saw an artist open requests…
So I decided to feel them out and see what they thought of the idea and if we could nail a concept.
We spent a long time on it…
Then they named their price and it was… high…
But it had been so much talking by that point that I felt I couldn’t pull back.
Alas… I will just have to use some of my savings, oh well.
I can probably make up for it eventually.
Beware the flow of Time,

On another note, Happy Halloween in advance to everyone! I wanted to write a poem where each stanza was a brief summary of the chapter and it went quite well! I’m going to stop doing that now because it takes quite a lot of space.
I have a hellish interview to attend on Wednesday.
Luckily Talos Principle 2 releases the next day.
So I have a kind of reward for myself for surviving it… sort of…
I’m really stoked for that game, I’m probably gonna end up streaming it for the first time in forever.
Though I will probably just play it on discord.

Last time on AinCiel: With the end of the fight, our newbie maid heard her her maid seniors’ opinions and, by chance, got to hear about very special event about the princesses in the past. Listening to the story, she gradually happened upon a glimpse of the truth about her mistresses’ secret but immediately shook off the thought. With it being safe to head outside, she and the younger princess’ maid attendant head out to pick up the ladies.
Now then, what will happen next? Will we be seeing some cleanup? What will our princesses do for the rest of the day? And will we see Triadol again?

I’ve been thinking of clearing my wall.
Actually you know I just noticed… I haven’t washed the walls in my room ever…
Like ever…
At all…
Do people do that?
My room probably needs it…
Anyway I mentioned it because I realised I still have some old decaying paper that I put up on my wall a decade ago, with irrelevant drawings by people I know longer know.
Kind of crazy.
Today the handle on my door was finally repaired.
Something about the spring or spindle or something…
Anyway, it wasn’t opening smoothly so it got replaced.
Only it’s so sharp and responsive now I keep messing up with the amount of force needed to open it, and not closing it properly because I hold it too far.
Strange how muscle memory works isn’t it.
I am supposed to ramble here but I am not sure what on…
Hm.
I suppose I shall ramble about uh…
How I bought a new mattress protector?
My current one is getting frayed along the side and the fabric is tearing apart which means it doesn’t stay in place very well.
I’ve been meaning to get a new one for a while but I bought a replacement along with some plaster restock for my medical box.
We’re nearing the end of the journey now, just next week remains.
In other news, Reverse 1999 seems to be having a… mixed reception shall we say?
I’m interested to see what the general opinion of it is in a few days, but I doubt I will play.
Too busy with Blue Archive and the GFL franchise.
