Wow it’s super late here.
I got really distracted by stuff today.
That’s the last time I get stuck on an anime binge train.
I was just trying to clear some of the old seasonal stuff I never finished for whatever reason.
I ended up getting a few down. Only one of them was actually good though.
Oh the woes of a completionist.
The beta for the new Stellaris version just went live and it’s become… well a source of discord.
It is a very big change to some fundamental game mechanics, and people are torn on opinions.
I myself am withholding trying it out.
I have too many mods to test the new beta.
I’ll let them finesse the details the manual way.
I have high hopes though none-the-less.
Recently I have been reading cultivation web comics.
Or well…
Cultivation style stuff from Japan/Korea/China…
I’m not sure why this is a trend.
It’s annoying though because the quality is very…varied.
Some are awful.
And some have like 200 chapters but… literally nothing happens?
It’s so strange.
This chapter is called “Inside the Wolf’s Mouth”
And it just reminds me of that battle in Final Fantasy XIV with the Alliance Raid.
Where you have to stand in the shrinking acid to get eaten by the giant wolf to bust up its guts.
You know in various ways that’s a really disturbing fight…….
Okay, so I was going to do a massive paragraph originally delving into some philosophical topics but then I went on a tangent I thought was interesting and decided to focus on that instead.
So.
Do you people think parallel worlds actually exist?
I think it’s an interesting question.
I don’t think there are any isekai style worlds obviously.
But I do think there are a lot of “what if…” worlds with huge or small differences.
Like a world where the asteroid that hit the dinosaurs was bigger and the entire Earth exploded….
The new anime season is upon us.
I’ve already excitedly devoured the first episode of Realist Hero Season 2.
The OP and ED were… interesting choices. Also a bit spoilery.
In other news, the Girls Frontline anime was abysmal…
At least Azur Lane satisfied fans with its attempt even if it didn’t reach Grand Order levels of greatness.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 just hit a roadblock for me.
I’m actually shocked, they don’t have a career style mode.
So basically the game is split between various challenge modes, and you unlock separate things in these individual challenge modes to use in sandbox.
In sandbox, everything you have unlocked in the different challenge modes is automatically preunlocked….
This however means, there isn’t a single gameplay mode in the game where you can unlock everything as you progress.
You either have to play with restrictions, or are automatically given everything.
Which is so strange!
Happy New Year fellow readers!
Today is the first time I am posting in 2020 Part 3.
Here’s to another year of political meltdowns and international disasters!
Aren’t things exciting?!
I’m wondering what strange memes will start this year…
Speaking of Endwalker, there was an epic moment in the story.
And the whole time I was like “Please give me the dialogue option to say Engage, please give me the dialogue option to say Engage” for the entire cinematic.
They did not give me the dialogue option to say engage.
But… half the cast did say engage in my place.
My needs were satisfied when that happened.
I must have had a dumb smile on my face.
I finished Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker.
The ending really… well it felt like an ending.
The only problem was that it was so conclusive that it burned all my enthusiasm to continue.
It’s like a book that you feel content to close and move on from.
IF they release a continuation then hell yeah I’ll pick it up, but I feel no need to hang around aimlessly now…
Well, I guess I’ll have to find a new game to play.
Extra good news everyone!
I’ve received valuable insider information.
According to my leak source, we will be getting five chapters for Christmas!
I’ll need to check with my informant if this will be five chapters extra for the week, or if the two usual chapters for the week are included in that total.
So you’ll either be getting five chapters or seven.
What a time to be alive!
This is the final chapter of the prelude intro!
We’ll be getting into the “story proper” from here on.
I actually have no idea where the story is going to be honest so I’m on this journey with you.
In unrelated news the Stellaris mod I work on is finally getting the full update that I was part of.
That means all the story content (hopefully) I wrote will be implemented.
I have a little bit of anxiety around it because I struggled to balance gameplay and roleplay rewards.
