I didn’t realise until today but the latest Magical Index volume has been released and has started to be translated.
I peaked at some of the art and it looks exciting and heartwarming.
It seems the great author.exe has taken pity on us after two volumes of gutwrenching despair.

I mean seriously that previous volume was DARK.
Also it seems everyones favourite American president is back.
Looking forward to what it actually contains. Fanboy mode, activate.

By the end of this week I should have finished upgrading my computer.
Hopefully this solves my screentearing problem.
Though honestly it’s unlikely.

For whatever reason I get a lot of screentearing.
My graphics card is good yes, but my monitors are good too and I have the same settings and I even turn on vsync when I can.
Hmmmmmm.
Let’s just hope upgrading my motherboard, ram and cpu cause everything to fall in line magically and resolve it somehow.

My PC parts for my upgrades are all here now.
A brand new expensive Ryzen CPU, 32GB of ram and a new motherboard to fit them both in.
Combined with my RTX graphics card I will finally have a PC that can almost be called top of the line for current generation PCs. Almost.

I tried playing Final Fantasy XIV with some fancy shaders and I could start to here my gpu whine.
I think this is a sign to stop using heavily outdated hardware that can’t keep up with my gpu.

Even though my gpu is basically current generation, my CPU and RAM are essentially a decade obsolete and can’t keep pace.
The bottleneck has got really bad lately because I bought a HD monitor, and it’s struggling to refresh fast enough haha.

I get screen tearing whenever my CPU has to do any work. To think I’d get screen tearing from my CPU of all things. That’s supposed to be the one non-factor.
Well…it’s not technically my CPU, but rather the motherboard and RAM that are outdated along with my CPU. Basically nothing else can keep up with my GPU.

Surprising absolutely nobody, my stomach now hates me.

I do some dumb things once in a while oftenly every few days on a regular basis.

But oh well.

Once again my preordered copy of Arpeggio of Bluesteel is horrifically overdue.
I preordered my copy last year so there would be no issues, yet Amazon have not even dispatched a copy yet due to supply issues while third parties are listing copies on their site.
Is it just completely failing to enter the country?

I hope this is just a covid thing rather than amazon’s total incompetence.

I’m really glad that J-Novel decided to have How Not To Summon A Demon Lord as their monthly freebie.
I was really tempted to buy the novels when the anime started to catch up with where I left the fan translation.

Today I reached that point.
I feel like the novels for Demon Lord are a little shorter than your average light novel since I read them way faster, but maybe they’re just more simple or I’m imagining things.
Either way now that I have caught up I look forward to seeing if there’s any unexpected developments.
I’m sure there will be a plot twist eventually. I’m waiting for the grand reveal of another isekaid person who’s an antagonist or something.
Or the whole “unreleased future game expansion calamity” event twist.
