If I ever write an isekai story I’m going to make it a one line gag that there’s inexplicably Japanese cuisine everywhere, and then never address food ever again…

Yes this is coming from a place of me reading yet another isekai with entire chapters dedicated to making mayonnaise and equivalents.

At this point I am fully convinced a fantasy world couldn’t last a century without an otherworlder spreading the Japanese palate.

I logged into my app to claim my discounts for the week and they made me play this little santa minigame…
It was a glorified random discount token event, but it entertained me for a few seconds.
You had to catch falling presents.

The discount I got was worthless, but a discount is discount regardless of value.

Microsoft taking security so seriously it actually backfires was not on my list of expectations today, but here we are…
According to this email I have, someone is trying to replace the security info on a microsoft account that’s associated with my email.
The problem is… I do not recognise the username of this account from the two letters they provide me with…
So, in order to stop someone stealing what is probably a super old account of mine I have to log in, but I can’t… the obvious solution is to recover my username right?
So I jump through all the hoops and microsoft sends me an email with my username…
“We’ve hidden part of the username(s) for security reasons.”
THATS THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
So my only option now is watch someone steal my account in 30 days…

I just have to watch…
Unable to do anything…

I had to change the bulb of my lamp today.
At first I was concerned, trying to work out what I would do about it…
Bulbs are annoying because they never list their specifications in a consistent manner and often need conversions.

But it turned out I had two set aside for just this situation!
Just, sat there collecting dust… possibly for years.
I only noticed them by chance a days ago too, so I remembered them.
