Starting earlier with Tiara I released five bonus chapters, and now we have six for Maid!
Why six? That’s a strange number, you say?
Well it’s because it’s three two part chapters! And I didn’t want to leave you high and dry with half of one.

And just like this is the final post for the day, this is also the final week of the anime season.
As we transition towards the start of next seasons batch of shows… I should take this time to reflect.
And panic because I’m still like two seasons behind and really need to catch up but keep getting distracted by other content!
I made a Goodbye Gordon joke on the last post I just made and now I’m watching Half Live VR again.
I wonder when they will do Half Life 2, that project has been hanging over their heads for two years now.
I wonder if the pressure is too much, if they’re still going or just generally how they feel about the topic.
I don’t really look at any of their other content, last time I dropped by was last year for the Alyx spin off series.
Don’t you absolutely love doing the same thing over and over and over again in a game hoping rng will bless you?
I’ve done this level over 50 times now and still not got the right item drop.
Well I guess it is legendary for a reason… but still!

I feel like I’ve become a speedrunner at it now!
I only fail once every twenty or so attempts at this point, and that’s only because rng enemy placement can screw my route if I get super unlucky.
I got a letter from the government today offering to pay a portion of my heating bill over winter.
Which is weird because I don’t have a heating bill, since I live with my parents still. Yup I am a NEET.
No but seriously, was very strange.
Maybe it’s because I’m still applied to the government for job vacancies.
Can you imagine if they accept me though?

Is anyone else having trouble with youtube lately?
For some reason if I try to watch any video at 720p and above it starts to stutter and buffer.
The videos all work at 480p and lower, but the moment I try to go above it becomes a fight against the impossible to get it to load.
Which is weird because it will still do that even if the video buffer is full, and even on loop where it shouldn’t need to load.
It’s definitely video related, because if I have it tabbed out the audio plays just fine.
It’s so strange and I can’t pinpoint the cause.
Maybe I just need to reset my PC to have it clear out all the quick boot cache stuff or whatever that fangled tech is called these days.
My sleeping pattern has been terrible lately.
It’s 6am almost.
Well this is a result of me trying to multitask multiple things lately and thus requiring to stay up longer, and then waking up later.
Which is funny because it’s my usual sleep spiral except this time for a purpose!
Anyway since today is a weekend day I have something really important to do, so I need to remember it. When I wake up.
As December draws near so do the legends of Christmas mass releases.
I wonder what we could possibly have in store for this year?

J-Novel Club just announced a plethora of audiobooks for their light novels.
I personally don’t actually listen to audiobooks so it’s not for me, as cool as it is.
But I think it’s a good thing, I look forward to seeing how well they perform and if they’re well read.
I mean, light novels read very different to normal novels, so I wonder if they adapt well.
I was going to do ask a question about something earlier today, but got distracted reading news on the topic and forgot what my question was.
Now I’m going to be cursing myself for the rest of the day trying to remember my train of thought that led to me having a question on that topic so I can ask it again.
It’s annoying, I just wanted to check if someone already knew what I wanted to ask and then I forgot my question while looking at other questions.
Not a great set of things to happen, I hope I can remember it.
So I’ve been looking into Nikke and I was thinking it seems to be a relatively user friendly game but then… then I saw the fine print.
The current event has a limited number of battles you can run per day, without buying more, and you need to gacha for characters in order to have a CHANCE of getting the event currency to drop for the event store.
In order to max out an SSR character you need ELEVEN copies of them, ELEVEN!
Even for a rateup character that’s 2% chance per roll with no pity system.
If they add PvP the whales are going to absolutely dominate this game, there’s no chance for a free to play to catch up.
I got really distracted doing some research and forgot I had this open to schedule.
This seems to be a problem I am encountering a lot recently.
Hopefully I can find a way to resolve it, well at least I was job searching so I have an excuse.

I left this open in a tab for two hours without scheduling it.
Since the original pre-chapter ramble was a bit of a mess anyway (with me talking about a novel I was reading) it seemed like an easy decision to swap it out to talk about this instead.
Recently I’ve been spending a lot of time multitasking on my computer and I keep losing track of things more often than I used to.
Even as I speak I have three windows of chrome open each with a dozen tabs each at least.
Technically one of them has about 50 but shhh, they’re filed away in a group related to art commissions and don’t count.
Everyone right now seems to be talking about some butt game.
People really like this gacha game.
I mentioned it before but butts.
Anyway, I am on the fence about playing myself.
Honestly I don’t think I can handle more gacha.
I think I will focus on the games I have, and my Stellaris mods.
