This is the final part of The Eternals volume of Re:START.
You’re probably wondering why I divided the chapters into halves when there’s a part three?
Well that’s because this is more like a point of view swap plot hook than a direct chapter part.
So it’s kind of a continuation but kind of not, like an epilogue of sorts for the volume.
That’s why I considered putting it down as an extra at first, but instead it’s now like an unofficial Part 3 that I am calling Final.

I really need to update it to actually look nice but to do that I’d need an updated copy of microsoft word.
And like hell I am going to pay for their new versions with the weird subscriptions and tiers they have.
I miss the days of being able to just buy a piece of software.
The world has improved in many errors but this isn’t one.
Recently the J-Novel Club discord added an out-of-context channel.
And some of the light novel/manga/anime content in it is a goldmine for comedy.
I think it might be my new favourite channel to drop in for things that aren’t memes to send to people randomly.
Started talking about Heavy Object on a friend discord today and now I have the urge to reread.
I still remember the vast majority of the novels but there are a few I can’t recall, I should definitely reread the finale again though.
It does really bug me that Heavy Object took a kind of episodic format, I think I would have liked it more if it had one more consistent narrative.
Well I understand that it was an experimental side project for the author though.
But the ship only barely sailed!
This chapter is a “what if” style chapter.
Do not take it seriously.
The author is just writing fanfiction of their own work.
Well actually I suppose it’s closer to like a hidden cg in a visual novel than a what if fanfiction?
Kind of reminds me of the TRPG light novels what ifs, those absolutely crazy alternate endings of varying degrees of insanity.
Seriously those will throw you for a loop if you don’t realise they’re a what if. Especially that first one!
The fae one was a pretty good what if for what it included.
Anyway go read Min-Maxing TRPG from J-Novel Club, great light novel, has an adorable little sister.
My parents are away camping so I spent the opportunity to… tidy my room.
Seriously you do not know how long I kept delaying tidying my room just because I knew the amount of junk I’d have to haul around the house or temporarily place somewhere outside my room to reorganise.
With my parents gone I could finally use the space safely without getting in the way constantly, or getting judgemental stares for having excessive amounts of random items I for some reason can’t bring myself to dispose.
I don’t think I’m a hoarder because there’s nothing I really compulsively keep, I guess I just have issues getting rid of things I already own rather than a desire to obtain more.
And my room isn’t that bad honestly, it’s just messy rather than full.
So after reading Worlds Fastest Level Up the fact that the first volume alone covered all of the currently translated manga material was a pleasant surprise.
At least I won’t be waiting for it to catch up now.
And very soon the next Magical Explorer volume will arrive and I will get to read that.
Everything is nicely sliding into place to give me some good reading for the next short while.
Though I don’t know what I will read after this. Time to go hunting.
Quite a few things happened this week, including a whole lot of nothing for me. Which is a weird mix.
I think the thing that left the biggest impact on me though was my friends subtly trying to manipulate me back into Honkai.
I mean I am excited for Star Rail, but I don’t think I can get back into 3rd no matter how good they make the story now.
Mainly because I just don’t have a controller to play it with… and have you ever tried it with keyboard?
The keyboard gameplay was so bad I almost passed on playing Genshin because of it.
Luckily that actually works on keyboard.
This month is light novel month.
I have two light novels on preorder that release in the coming few days.
And there’s probably more I haven’t preordered I will have to check the releases for.
Looking forward to more Otome Mob next month too.
Also Pikmin 4 died in a fire. Really sad about that.
I got hardcore distracted while doing the editing for these chapters like.
Insanely long.
It took me several hours to do what I should be able to in not several hours.
I wonder what was with me today.
Anyway editing done, time to sleep.

Don’t ask me why but I did all the editing tonight listening to the battle Mirai theme from Zipang.
I really don’t know why.
I just wanted some background noise and ended up on this.
It’s a very catchy tune though, even though I saw Zipang years ago I still remember significant parts of it.
Good anime, good manga too, only a few parts bothered me but no story is ever perfect.
Well apparently the author neglected to mention it last chapter and I didn’t realise it.
But we are now starting a new volume!
Yes this is Chapter 1 of Volume 6 – Izumo!
Seems like the entire next hundred or so chapters will be focused on Izumo.
Let’s see what lies in wait for us.
Well I am going to set my alarm and go to sleep.
Why am I setting an alarm for a Sunday you ask?
It’s a last ditch attempt to fix my sleeping pattern that completely collapsed after I stopped working and decided to sleep in one day.
It’s scary how one late night can completely throw you off like that.

I mean the Queen just died so I was almost betting some weird Great Reset rhetoric was being thrown around about removing the monarchy or some stupid rubbish like that.
