I spent most of the day helping someone get to know how to use ChatGPT for some writing work they were doing.
No I’m not talking about having it do the writing for you, that’s absurd, although it can produce some amazing purple prose if you ask it right.
What I mean is helping my friend soundboard ideas and find gaps in their logic and lore.
Especially given the implications of certain aspects of the setting.
It’s a great little tool for that, for real.
Today should be the start of the reddit blackout I think.
I wonder just how many are participating, I should check out the ones I usually post on.
Actually those are mostly major games I think?
Probably not a problem.
I won’t use the site on principle during the blackout either way.

I think it was 21 degrees or so? Which is my tolerance level for heat, if it starts going higher I’m gonna get uncomfy again.

So I had this all written out then for some reason it failed to schedule, and deleted my ramble.
That’s weirdly the second time it’s happened on the site lately.
I wonder what the cause is, at least I caught it this time.
I screwed up badly today.
I misremembered the date a job application closes and missed it.
This was the first job in months that I felt like I might actually be able to do properly and get employed for, and I blew it by not remembering a ruddy date.
If it’s not coming through I am trying very hard not to swear right now for internet purposes.

I meant to sleep early today but somehow ended up staying up later than planned.

I’m sure that I can run DnD for the first time in years, for a group that has never played DnD before, using a premade adventure I have never read before… while sleep deprived.

I randomly got the urge to rewatch Heavy Object again tonight.
I won’t, for starters it’s too late.
And I’m too busy this week.

Which is the same as not going off. Like completely useless.

I recently started work on a new writing project, but it’s slow going given how swamped I am with stuff lately.
I also need to apply to this job thing. It’s a little bit of a problem.

I was just about to get into bed and saw peta’s “You wouldn’t eat a T-Rex” tweet and now my life is forever changed.
This amuses me for three reasons:
1 – There’s evidence that Tyrannosaurids engaged in cannibalism. To hell with them not approving of us eating their descendants, they ate each other.
2 – Turkey Dinosaurs are the best
3 – I would totally eat T-Rex
So my second monitor now has image permanence issues.
Bit of an odd one.
Basically because I only use my second monitor for discord my second browser, the second browser top bar has started to become a bit of a ghost image that persists even when I put discord on top.
It’s very strange.
I will probably never unsee it now I’ve noticed it.
