Editor for and Demon Sword Maiden!
Gentrified NEET and siscon.
Currently looking for an imouto. Applicants must be under the age of 16, cute and with long hair.
Optional traits are: Neko, princess and/or maid.
So my latest art commission is in the final stages so now I am thinking of getting another.
Currently I am leaning towards a sort of scifi theme.
I’m not sure if I want to go full scifi like the ideas I’ve had for a while…
Or maybe something more Starfield inspired?
Hmmmm Star Trek or Starfield…
Both seem like good ideas.
Difficult decision.
I have a confession to make, after reading this chapter I ended up skimming ahead because the cliffhangers were killing me.
Like seriously!
Anyway I didn’t read in full detail because I still wanted to give my live reactions while editing but damn… seriously…
Anyway, just know that you’re all going to suffer immensely over the next few weeks with these constant cliffhangers coming up.
I have no regrets!
You should join the patreon to resolve that if you dare.
Ahahahahahahahaha.
You know these chapters seem to have very little in theming with the chapter titles lately.
I wonder why that is.
I don’t mean specifically, but just in general.
I mean it used to be extremely literal, so it stands out now.
I bring it up because this time the title is finally relevant to the chapter.
It’s chapter 111!
I like it when they do this.
I’m also a fan of chapter 101’s specifically because it reminds me of the first ever username I used online back in the day.
(It ended in a 101)
It’s interesting to me that this originated in US education number but somehow became ubiquitous with tutorials.
Dungeons and Dragons went surprisingly well considering that I didn’t have enough time to prep.
The starter box comes in handy sometimes it seems!
Well, it looks like they might be able to progress through this campaign for a little while longer at least.
Though they are coming much closer towards the end of it, they’re about half way through now.
Though, that’s hard to judge given sometimes they blitz parts and slow down at other parts.
Progress is steady though.
So Starfield reviews are now starting to go live, when you read this it should have been out for a day I think?
Honestly I really really want to play.
But I cheaped out and bought the normal edition not the early access edition.
Ahhhhhhh torture!!!!
But I will persevere. Hopefully.
On the upside I get to exploit all the guides for mistakes to avoid I guess?
Sometimes my phone pushes random news articles to me that make me very confused.
Most of the time they’re ones that are like:
“What to do with this very niche specific collectible in this game you have never heard of!”
Why does it feel I need to know this?
Well, I just ignore them, but I felt like rambling about it.
For those that were wondering, I did partially make a mistake in how to handle the cardboard recycling!
Apparently I was meant to transfer our cardboard recycling into a designated bag before putting out there, but that bag was in the storage shed in our drive (which by the way I did look in for something more official appearing) but I didn’t know that.
Anyway, they still accepted the temporary container I used, and thankfully it didn’t rain or blow away.
So all is well that ends well.
I don’t have to take responsibility for messing up.
I got distracted reading a book again and the sun has risen.
Time to finish this editing that take a power nap (aka sleep).
Oh right, and try not to worry myself to death about the bins outside.
I’m not sure why I am so conscious of them now and not normally.
Maybe it’s because I had to put the bins out myself while my parents are away and I keep worrying I did them wrong.
But actually what concerns me most is the paper recycling.
I cleared out so much old paper stuff from my room without checking it, there’s probably some old letters and documents in there.
I have some irrational fear that someone will go through them…
I got bored earlier today so I did some maint on my PC.
Mostly updating all my drivers after postponing it for so long, but I also uninstalled some stuff I never use.
Just over 200GB of stuff I never use.
Crazy.
I also went online to check when I bought my SSD and it was three years ago.
I think they used to say they had a five year lifespan?
I can’t remember exactly but I think that’s right anyway.
Since I still have forever ahead of me I checked prices out of interest, and you can now buy 4tb SSDs for cheaper than my 2tb one!
Technology advances forward…
I put one of my books on my highest shelf that I cleared finally.
It’s completely out of the way, but it beats having to move it whenever I want to access whatever other shelf it was haphazardly in front of.
Literally had to move it once a day regularly for a while just to swap it between the middle and bottom shelf when I wanted things.
Well now that middle shelf is full of Star Trek rpg stuff though…
So Sins of a Solar Empire got an update.
Guess they’re trying to bring awareness to the early access sequel right now.
To be honest I would start playing that game again if I could remember the mod I used to use!
It added a few new factions, and I remember there being an alternative human one that had this Battlestar style capital ships that could just field enormous numbers of fighters.
I loved those, and would always go for massive spam of carriers and the like.
I would really enjoy doing it again if I just knew the mod.
So for my ramble this time I wasn’t sure what topic to pick at first.
So I’m going to talk about the fact I have been burning money on new light novels again.
I finally managed to get the newest volumes of Worlds Fastest Level Up and Worlds Strongest Rearguard.
Funny how they both start with world!
Those two volumes have been long overdue and were good reads at least, I look forward to their continuation.
